We had a terrific few days at Awasi IIguazu accommodation was first class as were the meals. Our guide for the duration was terrific and went out of Her way to get us to see and do as much as was posable in the time that we had available The highlight was the helicopter flight over the falls The only downside we would loved to have had an extra day or 2 to enjoy Awasi facilities more

What a spectacular property! From the Villas in the jungle with your private plunge pool to the food and service, this is a top notch place. Having your own guide from landing at the airport through your excursions is really great. Amelin was fantastic! She really made the excursions special and was so informative. As said in the prior review, she helped expedite our going to see the falls on the Brazilian side as well as walking with us through all the Argentinian side. Exceptional service throughout by the entire staff. We were there 3 nights,I would go for 4. A lot to see and do!!

Prior to our recent stay at Awasi Iguazu, my husband and I had stayed at the two other Awasi locations in Patagonia and Atacama and LOVED both. Because of this, we planned our most recent trip to South America around visiting the Awasi Iguazu location and it definitely lived up to our expectations! Every single detail at all Awasi locations is so well thought out from the room and lodge decorations, to the excursions, to the food and beverages. Iguazu was no exception. Rooms at Iguazu are beautiful jungle bungalows with private dipping pools in each. The food is excellent. The drinks and wine are excellent. Every staff member is so attentive and committed to making your stay the best possible. Compared with Patgonia and Atacama locations, the excursions were more relaxing and less vigorous - a lot of aquatic options with boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. We stayed for three nights, which was the perfect amount. I would recommend seeing Iguazu falls from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides and doing those excursions last because they are impossible to compete with. No other hotel group can surpass Awasi and we hope they open a new location soon so we can visit!

Relais and chateaux does it again! Iguazu is a beautiful location with a beautiful hotel. The food was probably the best we’ve had and the tour of Iguazu falls was unbelievable. The guides were knowledgeable and were very attentive to our needs. They planned our excursion to the falls to avoid the most traffic and really made us feel VIP. The other excursions fell short as they were boring and underwhelming compared to the falls. Come to Awasi with the plan to see the falls and have a relaxing couple of days in your villa pool and eat amazing food. Don’t come with the expectation for extra excursions to blow your mind. I think 2-3 nights is plenty!

Nothing more can be said about Awasi than others have previously captured in terms of its excellence, and exceptional people. Yes the falls are a great experience, but the true enjoyment of the area is the lodge itself. Over the 3 nights it was one of the best dining experiences we have had, and then topped off with a great wine steward who recommended the perfect match for each course. Guides, lodges, pace of activities, etc. were all beyond expectation. But probably the best part of the stay at Awasi was the people. Each person we encountered greeted us by name, had a smile on their face all day, truly made us feel as if we were their most important guest, and wanted to make sure our stay was the best ever. Definitely a 12 out of 10 stars.
