Excellent service, cesar’s attention is really excellent, and those from the pool is very good all very attentive the clean and comfortable rooms, everything is good The drinks and meals are very good the rooms as I say comfortable and very clean, the facilities very good everything is close and the view is spectacular

The place is very clean and quiet—perfect for a relaxing stay. One thing to note is that check-out is at 12:00 noon, and after that, meals and drinks are no longer included, which means you'll be charged if you choose to have lunch. It would be a nice touch if guests could still enjoy a meal or refreshments after check-out. Also, during the stay, water and drinks aren't automatically replenished; you need to call daily to request them. A bit more attentiveness in this area would definitely improve the guest experience. Overall, though, it's a lovely place to unwind.

An amazing resort with an equally amazing staff. However, there were some issues with our stay. PROS: Amazing Staff Amazing Price Unlimited ice cream Clean Pools staff was responsive Room size was great Room key is a bracelet which was AMAZING! Staff kept children out of the adults only pool. Cons: Random room service to our room. We got locked out on our deck. Thank god the neighbors were home to help us Room had a strong smell of mildew Bathroom door did not close Bathroom needed some maintenance Swim up bar was not in the adults only pool House keeping was hit or miss, we had to ask for our shampoo, conditioner to be refilled a couple of times.

Other than the hot water incident and lack of resolve, everything else was great. There were 65 of us who flew in from all over the world for a destination wedding, which was beautiful. The food was what I expected and the service was outstanding.

This place a hidden gem. It’s the only hotel in Mismaloya that on the beach. We did the premium VIP which is worth the extra cost. It get you in to the VIP lounge where we met Cesar. He is an absolute 10. He was very welcoming and made sure you were always taken care of. He gave advice on a local seafood place that was excellent. He also gave recommendations on restaurants in town as well. We were here over Mother’s Day and he insisted that his wife would make us a home made cheesecake and brought in for us. It was delicious! The food is ok. The Arcos Grill was our favorite. The only negative is there is no pool bar in the adult only pool. There is wait service that will take your drink order but not the same. Overall we enjoyed this resort and it’s our second experience with Barcelo. I would come again just for Cesar’s hospitality!
