Cross My Heart

I have never, in all my years of traveling, had the service I received here. The staff were incredibly sincere, gracious, kind and accommodating. Our bartender, Raul, was friendly, funny and creative. It was so incredible, we’ve booked our family vacation already to go back. Can’t wait!

An excellent resort - would highly recommend. Beautiful property, clean beach with very calm water (kid friendly), fantastic and helpful staff, delicious food options, lovely rooms. Any critiques are minimal. Would return tomorrow if I could!

This resort was perfect! I e had a great time with our family and our kids first ever all inclusive. The food, beach, pool, and water park were all great! The staff were friendly and always ready to help! I would highly recommend for anyone traveling with kiddos or even as just adults. We will be back.

Incredible service and generosity

I just got home on Saturday from Hyatt Ziva. Long story short, my husband’s appendix ruptured and required emergency surgery. The hotel was AMAZING! They contacted me thru What’s App to inquire what I needed. They brought us 2 bags filled with waters, juices, sandwiches, chips, fruits and snacks plus a phone charger I desperately needed. Our butler, Santo, and the concierge staff especially Anderson and Mrs. Flor were amazing. They arranged daily RT car service for me to the hospital. Offered more boxed lunches and often inquired about my husband’s health. Also every time I left or returned to the resort, one of them was there to great me and offer any assistance. Every day the surgeon changed my husband’s discharge date. I explained multiple times that we were scheduled to fly home on Friday at noon. Thursday we were told that the doctor would be at the hospital early Friday morning to discharge him. Again I asked if we should change flights and was told again and again that it would not be necessary. Our airport transportation was scheduled to pick us up at 9am. The hotel decided to arrange a private car service and said basically gave us an extra hour before pickup. Friday morning, we meet with the doctor at 7:30 am who told us that after researching that he could discharge him but couldn’t sign off on the Fit to Fly paperwork until Monday. I’ll spare most of the details but when I informed the hotel, they immediately extended our stay 1 night complimentary but needed to discuss with the GM. I called AMEX global services and asked to speak with a US doctor. We spoke with Dr. Spangler, the Global Medical Director for AMEX medical services. Dr. Spangler assured us that after speaking with my husband he was confident that my husband could fly. When I asked about the form, the doctor said he would sign off on the form himself. Yay because I was trying to figure out how to get my girls home, where we could move to for the rest of our stay in the DR, etc. The hotel arranged our car service the next day to the airport. I had updated all the other details. I was finally able to breathe. My daughters spirits lifted when seeing their dad and hung out with him in the room. I was able to float in the pool and the ocean for a few hours. Later in the afternoon I received a message that Flor would like to meet. I met with Flor and another high ranking member of the concierge team. I couldn’t thank them enough for their hospitality and generosity. They asked when we need to stay until bc after speaking with the GM, they were going to finagle something so we could stay at the resort. They didn’t want us to potentially move somewhere unsafe and have to worry about meals, etc. So generous! THEN said because we lost 3 days of our vacation due to my husband’s health, they gave me a voucher for 3-nights stay to return and actually get our vacation. WOW!! I began crying. I work a lot with hotels and hospitality and this resort was Over the Top! The service, generosity, cleanliness and vibe were top notch!! This resort was pricier than others but it was very worth it! 20/10

My wife and I had stayed at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana before we had our child. We loved it and decided to check out the Ziva now that we have a baby. Everything was stupendous from service to food and cleanliness. TV had a malfunction which wasn't a big deal since we weren't trying to watch much TV, and there wasn't a crib in our room when we arrived which we were expecting to see since we specifically requested it when we made our reservation. Outside of these small inconveniences, everything was great. The staff was able to get us a crib once we called the helpline and everyone who we interacted with was helpful. We tried the waterpark which was great and also the spa which we had tried before and loved. The food was as expected, high quality and entertainment was fun. Overall we had a good experience
