Villa Caletas

La petite déception de notre voyage. Cet hôtel vit sur sa réputation et ne correspond pas tout à fait à nos attentes. On sent les voyageurs "m'as-tu vu" et qui aime se montrer. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bien situé sur un éperon surplomnbant l'océan. La vue est magnifique. Par contre notre chambre une suite junior mériterait d'être actualisée et rénovée. Un peu sombre, bopiserie vieillotte. Le restaurant bénéficie d'une jolie vue mer mais la qualité est moyenne pour un prix plutôt élevé. Le eprsonnel est blasé et moins sympathique que dans les autres lodges et hôtels du Costa Rica. La piscine à débordement sur l'océan est très jolie.

Vreselijk ervaring! Hele oude vieze kamer met een nare lucht. In de kamer een kakkerlak en grote spin verwijderd en in de avond geen warm water meer in de douche. Misschien dat dit hotel 40 jaar geleden 5 sterren was, maar daarna is er niks meer veranderd of verbeterd. Bij het uitchecken vragen ze niet eens of je een fijn verblijf hebt gehad, omdat ze dat vast niet meer durven. Ik schrijf deze review alleen om andere mensen te waarschuwen. 1uurtje verder doorrijden naar het hotel Rancho Pacifico en je krijgt een echte 5 sterren belevenis

North Beach high school 50th class reunion trip Between Tarcoles and Jaco, high on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean, there's a magical place. Villa Caletas is my favorite spot to sip cocktails, in their Zephyr palace and amphitheater, while watching the 360 degree sunset. These beautiful sunset photos are not filtered, just Mother Nature at her finest. Our group did not dine here or stay in the hotel, that's another story 😁, but we enjoyed the most beautiful cocktail hour while watching the sunset. Life is good in Costa Rica Pura vida

Villa Caletas is a true paradise, with stunning views, beautiful rooms, and exceptional service from all of its staff. Every visit feels special and it keeps us coming back. We’re especially grateful to Adrian for always making us feel at home. His warmth and personalized attention always add an extra touch. We can’t wait for our next stay!

An exceptional location and helpful and friendly staff make Villa Caletas a wonderful stop on your Costa Rica visit. This was our second stay at Caletas and it was the perfect peaceful long weekend retreat. We especially wanted to recognise Emanuel at the reception who was very attentive and friendly and made us instantly welcome as well as Maria at the Playa who was so friendly and constantly checking if we needed water, food or drinks. The hotel is clean and well run and the views are absolutely spectacular. You will see Macaws, Sloths, Tuscans and occasionally monkeys here - so natural and peaceful.
