All round a truly incredible experience . Most noteworthy is the staff who go above and beyond to ensure you are having the very best experience . Food was exceptional at Umami , Seasalt and the Pabati. Room was exceptional in design . Modern and chic. There are some great beach spots for just floating around in the water. Just to note that lagoon at water villas can get a bit choppy so we preferred to swim and snorkel at the beach area near the main pool. Would go back to Alila in a heartbeat

Our stay at Alila Kothaifaru Maldives was unforgettable, and it’s all thanks to the incredible staff. The Mirus Bar team (Sandip, Asanka, Alex, Si Thu, Upul, and Naflaan) made every sunset and poolside moment special with their warmth and professionalism. At SeaSalt, Hafiz arranged an unforgettable table-side fish presentation and authentic Maldivian breakfast, while Zachery, Vinna, and Ayuk made mornings so joyful. Agus at Umami delivered one of the best teppanyaki experiences we’ve ever had, and Risqi at the fruit station added a personal, caring touch to every breakfast. Our villa host Azim was attentive and thoughtful, Riya at the spa gave an amazing treatment, and Faiz at the seaplane terminal handled everything flawlessly from arrival to departure. The leadership team, GM Thomas, Executive Chef Frank, Salaam and the front desk/jetty team, the watersports staff, and Jai the boat driver all contributed to a seamless, memorable stay. Every staff member went above and beyond — their kindness, humility, and dedication made Alila Kothaifaru truly special. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!

Although the weather wasn’t great, the resort itself was beautiful. The staff were very kind, and I hope to come back again.

We came to Alila Kothaifaru for our honeymoon, and it was truly the most unforgettable experience. The island is beautiful, peaceful, and every corner feels like paradise — but what really made our stay special were the amazing staff. We spent a lot of time at the Yakitori Bar and Umami. And especially Chanaka, Arya, Bilhy and Sithu , made us feel so welcome every single day. Their smiles, kind conversations, and warm service turned every evening into a happy memory. Special thanks to Chanaka — thanks to him, we enjoyed so many amazing drinks and had such a great time at the Yakitori Bar. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special — we’ll never forget it! 🤍🌴 -from korean honeymoon couple 신혼여행으로 왔는데 너무너무 좋았어요!!!! 처음에 비가 많이 와서 속상했는데 직원분들이 엄청 친절해서 기분이 좋아졌었어요~~~ 스노쿨링하고 매일 스노쿨링존 옆에 있는 야키토리바 갔는데 갈때마다 맛있는 칵테일 많이 만들어줘서 행복했어요 yakijam 진짜 맛있습니다...미친맛 저희는 하프보드플러스로 갔다가 야키토리바 방문하고 chanaka 만난 이후로 추가금내고 올인클루시브로 바꿨어요 첨부터 올인클루시브 할걸 싶었어요 음식이랑 술 다 맛있습니다 chanaka 찾아가면 맛있는 술 완전 많이 만들어줄거에요 yaki jam 만드는 법도 친절하게 알려주고 진짜 행복했어요 직원들 진짜 친절하고 열심히 일해서 제가 돈만 많으면 팁 많이 주고 싶었어요 다들 신혼여행 여기로 오세요 >< 하.. 또 가고싶다....

Alila is truly an unforgettable stay. With an abundance of wildlife, incredible service and lovely staff, I can assure that you will have a trip of a lifetime! Even if the weather isn't great, there is plenty to do and the rooms are so beautiful that you might not want to leave them. The food is also fantastic, with different cuisines served at the highest standard so you have many choices each day.
