We were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The natural beauty of the island took our breath away—the pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush greenery everywhere you look—it's like something out of a postcard.

Reethi Faru is absolute paradise. We stayed for 9 nights in December for the second part of our honeymoon and it was so perfect. We had two rooms for our stay, our first room was due to be a garden villa however we were upgraded to a jacuzzi villa which was incredible! We had our own private jacuzzi on the deck. The rooms are excellent and a lovely size, the open air shower is lovely. Don’t worry about the geckos 🤣 We then switched to a water villa for the final 3 nights which was just as amazing! Having the water right there and your own decks to relax on was brilliant, and you could hop in the water for some snorkelling at any time. We saw all kinds of beautiful fish, we were fortunate enough to also have a pod of dolphins swim by one morning which we saw from our deck. The restaurants are amazing, we did have the full all inclusive premium dine around which meant we could use the a la cartes for lunches too. The buffet was also great for the days we didn’t book an evening meal, lots of choice and fab service from the team of waiters. The over water restaurant was lovely, as was the special garden meal we had one evening (can’t fault any of the food anywhere)! The pool bar was also brilliant, the barman (I’ve forgotten his name now!!!!) was lovely and always had time to chat. Cocktails were also fab. The resort itself is a lovely size, it took around 30 mins to walk around which is perfect if you don’t want to be somewhere too small. Lots of bars dotted around and you don’t want to miss the sunset at the sunset bar! We also did the dolphin cruise trip which was brilliant and we saw at least 100 dolphins that day. The sunset cruise is also brilliant, as are the water sports you can do! We had seaplane transfers from Male which went so smoothly for us, we did have an early departure the day we travelled home but the resort put on a light breakfast and drinks in the over water restaurant which is great. I have probably missed loads off of this review, but I would 100% recommend Reethi Faru, we had the most amazing stay here and hope to visit again one day 🌴 🏖️

This is a truly wonderful place. The barefoot experience of wandering around along tree-lined shaded sandy pathways with little bars and restaurants along the way, manned by delightful staff, watching enormous fruit bats fly overhead (confusingly all through the day). The food at the several restaurants is fresh, well-prepared and beautifully served - delicious. Local cocktails are pretty and fruity. The restaurants do have set service times, but you can usually find a snack somewhere. And then there’s the sea - oh my goodness! We’ve been to some beautiful beaches fringing beautiful sea but this is something else. The very epitome of a tropical paradise!

A stunning island with lovely rooms. Quiet enough to find pockets of beach where you feel like you are on your own private island. Amazing water sports and trips also on offer. Our absolute highlight was the food. The chef’s are amazing!! Friendly, smiley and amazing cooks. The desserts were particularly special!
