The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur

We spent two nights at The Oberoi Rajvilas and had a truly memorable stay. The property itself is stunning — peaceful, beautifully designed, and a perfect escape just outside Jaipur — and our villa, with its private pool, was absolutely gorgeous and very well appointed. It felt both luxurious and thoughtfully designed, a place we genuinely looked forward to returning to each day. What truly made our visit special, though, was the service. Our butler, Ashutosh, went out of his way to make sure every detail was taken care of, always with a warmth and thoughtfulness that never felt forced. One moment that really stood out was when he took our kids on a “behind the scenes” tour of the property. They were absolutely enthralled, and it was such a generous and unexpected gesture that made the experience even more special for our whole family. It’s rare to find a place that combines this level of elegance with such genuinely personal hospitality. We left feeling relaxed, well cared for, and already thinking about when we might return. Highly recommended.

We stayed 4 nights at Rajvilas in early December. The reasons we loved our stay: the people who work there; the unique and special atmosphere and vibe at the hotel; the design of the hotel; the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel; the breakfasts and dinners; the attention to detail by each and every person who works there; the can-do attitude by everyone in the reception, kitchen, housekeeping and management; the value; the impeccable service; and the positive, happy and uplifting experience the staff and hotel deliver each day. Out of all the Oberois I stayed at in India (Agra, Udaipur, Mumbai, Jaipur), The Oberoi Rajvilas was the absolute stellar top performer in customer service. Absolutely flawless. Every single request I had was dealt with in a seamless and flawless manner, and efficiency and quick responses and actions was their signature style. Every Oberoi has a Whatsapp chat service where you can request for whatever you need. I used this service a lot at all The Oberois and Rajvilas in Jaipur was the clear winner. Every single request no matter how complicated or hard was never too hard. No one ever told me "No" when other Oberois did. Every single request was responded to so very politely and with such positivity and clarity, verifying every single meticulous requirement and responding in lightning speed. Professionalism, friendliness, warmth, politeness - everything was there. Ensuring accuracy of the request and accommodating everything in every conceivable way. I was so impressed when I was on my way back one evening and I asked the hotel to arrange for someone to discuss my complex dinner order with me, and within 20 mins, the hotel had communicated with all the necessary personnel at the Surya Mahal restaurant to meet me, as well as arranging for the person who was standing at the front door to be aware that I was arriving soon. When I arrived the lady at the front knew who I was and was ready to pass me onto another lady who guided me to the Surya Mahal restaurant. Now I am so sorry but I forgot the name of the Chef on the evening of the 24th December 2025 who was so nice and listened to my order and requirements attentively. I really need to identify this Chef who was male and recognise him because he made me the most delicious dinner and I asked for an apple crumble that I consumed at the Oberoi Agra and no, this hotel did not have it but this Chef went away for 2 hours and made 2 ABSOLUTELY DIVINE apple crumbles from SCRATCH and someone delivered to my room just before midnight. When I opened the door I was like Oh My Goodness!! I have never received such service like this. I have attached the photos of the apple crumble and the food that was customised for me to identify this wonderful chef. The property was gorgeous as most Oberois are (bar Mumbai!) and my room was amazing. I had an incredible stay here and would definitely come back here any day. I loved it. The Customer Service here is enough to make me want to come back again and again. It was just the absolute best and they also packed me the most amazing customised breakfast packs. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel and can only wish I could give it 6 stars. The team here should be proud of themselves. I am generally a very critical traveller and I will call out any flaws but I cannot think of anything. I certainly will never forget the best apple crumble I have ever had in my life and that is a big compliment from someone who has travelled to 50 countries and ate authentic apple crumbles in the home of apple crumbles - Netherlands!

From the moment you land, the hospitality begins,being received by an executive at the airport itself sets the tone for what follows. Each and every person at the hotel is genuinely warm, helpful, and polite. What truly touched my heart was the beautiful gesture of every staff member greeting you with folded hands and a respectful "Namaste", it makes you feel truly welcomed. The food, the service, and the overall experience are nothing short of stunning. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of, making the stay extremely comfortable and memorable. The property is a paradise for nature lovers, a wide variety of birds, along with around 150 peacocks and peahens, makes the surroundings even more mesmerising and serene. A special thanks to Soham at Surya Mahal for the exceptional service and warmth. Truly a place that stays with you long after you leave. Highly recommended!
