The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur

I visited this property for the first time and they did their best to make the stay comfortable and amazing It was my sister’s bday nd I planned a surprise for her and connected wth Mr Ankit and told him abt this he along wth his team arranged everything and created a beautiful surprise for her and made the experience truly the best for her ..! Our private butler miss Ruchi was just a call away everytime we need something she was there to arrange ..! From the chef to the staff everyone was so kind and helpful ..! Also I would like to mention the chef miss Devlina Bagree she was such a sweetheart …she made the exactly same customised cake which I asked her for my sister and came herself at midnight with the cake to wish her…! It was a total paisa vasool stay I would stay ..!

This is a truly stunning hotel. Rooms are located in separate bungalow style buildings spread across the beautiful grounds. The hotel even has its own temple surrounded by a lake with lotus flowers. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful and although close to the hustle and bustle of Jaipur is quiet. The only sounds come from the peacocks (national bird of Rajasthan) who live there. The team at this hotel are outstanding and really make an effort to get to know their guests. There is a spa, gym and swimming pool. I had a beautiful spa treatment and enjoyed an outdoor yoga class. In the evening traditional local performers and craftsmen provide entertainment for the guests. This hotel is so good that the trip to India is worth it just to stay here.

During our short trip around India, my wife and I stayed at three Oberoi hotels – and yes, you are about to read three glowing reviews, because there really is so much to admire. We arrived in Jaipur from Delhi with our wonderful driver, Mr. Girwar, who is not only an excellent driver but also a fantastic conversationalist and a genuinely kind person. The entire journey was perfectly arranged by Mr. Mohit from Exotic Vacations – Oberoi Group. After an outstanding experience at The Oberoi, New Delhi, we had high expectations for Jaipur – and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The hotel is simply beautiful – stunning architecture set in a magical garden. Dozens of peacocks stroll among the breathtaking bougainvillea, adding an extra layer of charm to this already special place. True to Oberoi tradition, we were welcomed even before entering the lobby – with flower petals and a garland around the neck. The check-in was fast, smooth and extremely professional. Honestly, we felt like the most important guests in the world – that’s the Oberoi difference: every arriving guest feels truly special. We were upgraded to a gorgeous Luxury Tent with private pool – a beautiful little “house” surrounded by a bougainvillea wall and our own private swimming pool. What more could you ask for? We enjoyed both hotel restaurants. The staff were very helpful (great wine recommendations too), the food was delicious and we loved the live music in the evenings. After exploring Jaipur with our excellent guide Neha (also arranged by Mr. Mohit / Oberoi Group - we highly recommend her), we spent relaxing hours in the stunning hotel garden and by the beautiful main pool, enjoying drinks brought right to us. On our wedding anniversary the hotel surprised us beautifully – our tent was decorated, we received a delicious cake and some lovely little gifts. We are so grateful! Special thanks to General Manager Mr. Vishal Virmani for personally welcoming us, for the warm conversation and for making our stay truly memorable. Big thank you also to Mr. Sanchari Guha - Front Office Manager, the pool team, restaurant staff, housekeeping, reception and the boutique/shop team – you are an amazing group and you deliver genuine 6-star service! And last but not least – heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Vikram Oberoi, Managing Director and CEO, for building and leading such an extraordinary team. We’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful hotel with great service. The room with a garden was large and comfortable with every amenity. Food was excellent .

This hotel was unlike any other that we had stayed in. Our room was in its own little villa, set in picturesque and immaculate grounds, with ornate ponds, pagodas, wonderful plants, flowers and tress, with peacocks roaming. All you can hear were the birds in the trees, and the gentle sound of water babbling over stones - an absolute oasis of calm. Our room had a four poster bed, shutters on the windows, and a sunken marble bath that looked out onto its own little private garden. The food in the main restaurant was great, particularly the Indian dishes, and there was live Indian music and dancing out on the terrace. We did not get to try the specialty Indian menu restaurant, as it was closed for a private function on the evening we wanted to dine there, but I hear the dishes are superb. The service the staff provide is second to none, and every wish is catered for, without doubt the best service we have ever received, with every detail noted and acted on by the team. Absolutely wonderful.
