Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

In July 2025, Ekaterina and I spent a truly relaxing and well-organized stay at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. The resort delivered on its promise of premium hospitality — from its thoughtfully designed layout across two islands to the wide variety of excellent dining venues. We especially appreciated the contributions of three staff members who made our experience smoother and more personal. Fasy, our concierge, handled every request with attention and calm efficiency. Amat, Director of Food & Beverage, ensured that the resort’s culinary standards remained impressive across all venues — his approach was both strategic and guest-focused. And at Vilu Restaurant, Sampath consistently provided professional, attentive service during the evening Happy Hour, always with a kind and respectful attitude. The separation between the family-oriented and adults-only areas allowed for both quiet and activity, depending on the mood. Dining was a genuine highlight — with a variety of restaurants that offered not only beautiful surroundings but also a global range of quality cuisine. We dreamt of coming to the Maldives for years. We heard so many amazing things about the Conrad Rangali and nothing prepared us for what we actually experienced. From the impeccable decor and landscaping to the superb customer service and fabulous cuisine at ALL restaurants, the Conrad Rangali was by far better than our wildest dreams! All of the activities were fun and well organized. Ithaa did not disappoint! Definitely go for lunch! We had a great time and can’t wait to return! Niyaz was our host (every guest is assigned a host to help arrange for activities and restaurant reservations) and he was a treasure! Cozy and Rimah were bright stars of our dining experiences and made us feel welcomed each time we saw them. If you have ever thought of coming to the Maldives, this is the place to stay! Great experience. Staff always ready to help. Khaleel our host took good care of us. Habisu, Kozi and Tikaram helped us with our dietary requirements. Shifaaz the experience host was also very good. Buggy drivers very cordial and ready to help. Small suggestion to keep the pools open for longer in the evening until sunset.

We spent an unforgettable 7 days and 6 nights on our honeymoon at the Island. The butler, Abxy, was very attentive, the lifeguard Ali was especially helpful, and the other staff members were also very warm and friendly. The lagoon here is stunning, and there are no seagrasses or breakwaters. There are plenty of dining options on the island, and the food is quite good. We stayed in a basic beach villa for 3 days and a basic water villa for another 3 days. Although these are the most basic room types, we felt completely comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. If you choose a higher room category, the pool would be larger.

The water is blue and beautiful. The food is amazing and the vilu restaurant is amazing. Try Osso Bucco from the menu. The front staff Fasey is a great help. The restaurant manager Kosi is a super human of a host. Try water sports and activities. Rooms are great and clean. The airport rep for conrad helped me check in and pass security fast as I was getting late for the return flight.
