Belmond Hotel Caruso

The Amalfi coast in Italy feels like a mix between sprawling, gorgeous coastal views of the Mediterranean, and crazy one-way streets piled with traffic and crazy crowds in Positano. Well, Caruso Belmond gives you the best of both worlds: beautiful views of the coast, no crowds or crazy traffic. The staff was excellent, the facilities were clean and modern, the food was delectable, and our stay was on of the best we've ever had. Ravello is a true Gem in Amalfi, and an amazing place to stay while you explore the coast. We cannot recommend this enough to people as a great stay in Amalfi.

Caruso is not just a place to stay. It is a place that stays with you. Perched high above Ravello with views that almost defy belief, it combines historic charm with calm, understated luxury and offered a sense of peace that is hard to describe. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. Every team member we encountered was thoughtful, kind and attentive without being overbearing. Their instinct for service is exceptional and quietly confident. Lunch at Belvedere was a highlight. The ingredients spoke for themselves and the setting was elegant without trying too hard. The service was faultless, and the pizza from the famous original oven will live long in my memory. There is something very special about this place. Review for the Spa! After a long rainy day exploring and walking all over, I walked in utterly drenched to the front desk, and asked for the spa. The concierge was so kind and escorted me down. The therapist working was so sweet to me. She took my sopping wet poncho to hang over a towel, gave me a warm blanket and hot tea while I waited for my services. The facilities are beautiful, fully stocked and staffed with the most patient and delightful ladies. I cannot praise them enough to how well they took care of me. They took me from a wet exhausted mess to a relaxed human again. Thank you thank you!!

I have been wanting to check this hotel out and it did not disappoint. If literally can not say one they could have done better. The views, the service, the amentities offered, the products in the bathrooms, the snacks that you come back to the room to, the location were all absolutely wonderful. Yes, this is an expensive hotel but worth every penny. My teenager said that it was so peaceful. The breakfasts were very delicious with rotating baked goods every morning. The staff at the pool were attentive. When we arrived, they immediately whisked off the previous guests' towels and quickly laid new towels with out us asking. There were also buttons on each umbrella that you can press to have a staff member come to you. We will definitely return and stay longer next time!
