I love this place. The decor, the nostalgia, the service, the view. Expensive ? Yes it is , but worth it Take a room, a suite if you can, ocean view, and you have the most beautiful scene at your feet. I will be back of course

This really is a special place to stay, an art-deco landmark with views right over the famous Copacabana beach. Our welcome was warm and helpful, our room was a classic beauty right at the front of the building (but giving us peaceful nights as well as glorious sunrises), and the food, service and stunning pool were all First Class. A faultless stay and we can't wait to return to enjoy all those small details that make Belmond stand out.
