Great location and great service
The hotel is perfectly positioned and the pool aerea overtaking the bay is outstanding. Special mention to Mr. Murilo at the breakfast restaurant for his kindness and for making me discover a super traditional Brazilian dish. Well done Mr. Murilo!

Murilo is the Best Server
We were served by Murilo. He was the most attentive and gracious host. He immediately greeted us, gave us recommendations on the menu, changed seats for us to avoid the sun, and made sure our drinks were never empty. He even filled up our water bottles for us which was so thoughtful. Exceptional service. We will come back just for the service but the food was great too!

Lovely Rio property with excellent staff
We loved our stay! We were in Rio for 6 nights and spent the entire time at this property. Excellent staff - I want to specifically call out Murilo at the restaurant by the pool. He was there for breakfast service every day during our stay and was incredible! Was great to chat with, made me a delicious tea when I wasn’t feeling well, and overall was just a great guy! The rest of the hotel staff were also kind and accommodating. With regard to the property - well appointed gym, good rooms (dated and could use some little repairs, but overall clean and with comfortable beds and sheets), and a fantastic pool vibe (just check to see if they’re done with the construction by the pool - it began halfway through our stay). Overall, would stay here again.

Great stay in Rio with friendly service
The Fairmont in Rio was a lovely stay. I think it is a hotel option on the beach. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool very much and the morning breakfast. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Murilo in particular always went above and beyond at breakfast to ensure we were taken care of and having an amazing time. Thanks to all!
