We ordered a pizza and it was cooked to my liking. The suggestion of adding the honey on it took a plain pepperoni pizza to another level. The wait wasn’t too long and the restaurant was clean. Staff is friendly and suggested other times, but the pizza was enough for me. . I enjoyed my experience.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, from the lush tropical scenery to the stunning pools and clean, relaxing beach. The staff was warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The pools were fantastic, the beach breathtaking, and the entire resort had a vibrant, elegant energy that made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, family-friendly, and relaxing getaway in Puerto Rico, this resort is definitely the place to go. Can’t wait to return!

We went to this resort in Oct 2025 for a second baby moon with our 1.5 year old. We visited a Hyatt each of the years before, but this was our first visit to Puerto Rico. We were excited to get the quality of a Hyatt resort in a tropical location. It definitely delivered what we expected, although there were a few downsides specific to our experience. Cons: Check-in was slow. It was the low season, but it was a good 15 min to check-in. We asked for a crib in our reservation request, and again during check-in, but we had to call for one after being there over 1.5 hours. They had originally put us on the second floor without elevators, which would have not been good with a stroller. It took a while to find a room on the ground floor. Although the resort had lots of dining options, Mon-Thu there was a lack of dining options for lunch. Only the market and pool were available to dine. This made it difficult with a toddler. In addition, during the week restaurants opened at 6pm for dinner, which is very hard with a toddler. Service is slow, so we normally didn't receive food until 6:45, so we had a cranky loud toddler hurting our experience and everyone around us. Finally on our last night our server brought some wonton crunchies that reduced his frustration. In addition, most food is quite expensive. Even the lobby bar didn't open until 6pm most days. Pros: The pools and beaches are absolutely gorgeous and massive, plenty of room to explore. The additional pool on the north side was nice on the busy days with a little one. The Splash center had lots of inflatables for day use or to purchase. We had no problem getting a pool chair, and we paid for a daybed one day. It was worth it with a little one to take a nap in the shade and get dedicated service. I felt the condition of the grounds were beautiful. Iguanas and little lizards everywhere, cranes hanging out in the ponds, it was very beautiful. The grounds are very spread out, but there are lots of golf cart "trolleys" continually running to get a ride when you need. For instance, it is at least a 10 min walk from a middle building to the breakfast restaurant. There are flitered water and ice machines located around the villas and bungalows. This was great for filling our Stanley mugs continually to stay hydrated. The rooms are large, and the shower was perfect for our family of 3 to take a shower. If you have a toddler, you know. The beds were comfy and rooms were cleaned often. Room service was reasonable and quite delicious. There are a few small restaurants located on the main road nearby that were good. I feel that you need a car to stay here, but it allows you to explore the island.
