Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico

Overall a top-tier resort hotel. Room was clean and current. The best part was the pool - it’s large enough that even when the hotel was at capacity, we didn’t feel over crowded. It is in a secluded area - so definitely make sure to make dinner reservations in advance. One thing we were disappointed was the quality of their towels. Something that I would see at a highway motel - not the quality that I would expect for a luxury resort like this.

We had a great experience overall at this resort We had never been to Puerto Rico or a Hyatt Regency resort but both were excellent. We traditionally had done Sandals/Beaches and this place was more sophisticated and better for our teenage kids and young adults. Easy access to excursions and resources are onsite but they are not pushy. It’s a nice look and right next to a swimming beach. We are picky; both were above average. At the pool our service was great; Wuanyerly was incredibly friendly and genuine; great service too.

We had an incredible experience! From the moment we stepped foot on the property we knew it was a special place. Check-in was easy, our room was spacious and beautiful, the breakfast offered a wide variety including new things to try, the pool is huge and well maintained, and the beach was a great place to take a walk and watch the sunset each night. There were plenty of activities to keep our teenage sons busy (pool, mini golf, bikes, tennis, ping pong, etc). Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful! 10/10 would recommend - we will definitely be back!

Angelo was great. He had great food recommendations and was very funny.(at prime steak house). I enjoyed my fish very much.

The overall vibe of the resort is calm and welcoming, which made it the perfect for our family of six with teenagers and young adults. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with relaxing patio/balconies. We all agreed the food and beverages at the poolside bars were delicious. We ate dinner at Nori and Néctar, two on site restaurants, and the food was incredible. What made us feel like true VIPs was our bellman Omar. From the first moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and attentiveness that set the tone for our visit. Despite our early arrival, Omar seamlessly handled our luggage and arrangements so we could begin enjoying the resort right away. For our late departure, he once again took all stress out of the logistics ensuring everything was effortless. I highly recommend this resort for families with teens looking for a relaxed beach vibe, fun activities, helpful staff, and a high UV!
