There isn’t a better immersion in the glory days of the Roaring Twenties than Grand Hotel Palace – part of the collection of – a regal mainstay on Rome’s famed Via Veneto. The white columned façade bears a hint of the Colosseum, but inside the wrought iron gate is an homage to Bohemian Rome. Architect Marcello Piacentini’s thoughtful design showcases floor-to-ceiling frescoes of bygone society, while marble floors and Murano crystal chandeliers retain a sense of timelessness.

We recently spent 4 days at this boutique hotel for a birthday trip. Check- in staff were friendly and welcoming. We were treated to a birthday card, chocolate cake and Prosecco, which was a lovely surprise and hugely appreciated. Our room was stylish, spacious , comfortable and clean. Location was perfect. Next door to a Hard Rock Cafe and 5 minute walk to cafes, bars and shops at the Barberini Piazza. 15 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Thank you to the team for an enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel

We booked this hotel because of it's 5 star rating. We were disappointed from the start. Our room was not as clean as one might expect during arrival. The shower was stained and fixtures were rusted and worn. The spa is a great addition but again it is not as clean and kept as we would have expected. The spa beds were torn and there were broken and missing tiles. Just had an unkept feeling. Gym doesn't open until 8am and that is inconvenient for a sightseeing destination. Front desk staff was nice but unhelpful. Concierge was a big disappointment. They offered to book tours for us and then never followed through. They forgot to tell us about the bug problem from our balcony so we were very surprised to find our bed covered in tiny red spiderlike bugs. I will say that the staff in the restaurant breakfast area were amazing! Matteo and all the guys were on point and really shined. The location is good, we were able to walk to the Spanish Stairs and the Trevi Fountain. No shuttle or transportation is offered. Nice neighborhood and quiet at night. This hotel overall feels more like an average hotel and nothing like a 5 star one. It is dated and dirty and their service needs a lot of work. Not impressed paying for 5 star service and not receiving it, the value is not there. We would never return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel overall in a great location. However don’t stay on the 7th floor. Not sure if all rooms are like this but you are in a space that is basically at attic with angular ceilings that protrude very far in to the living space. Tall people should avoid the floor at all costs. You’re liable to end up with a concussion walking around at night. Forget about taking a normal shower. The shower head is at navel height.

Loved it here! I had a room on the top floor with an incredible view and small balcony. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, and the staff was extremely accommodating. The rooms are equipped with amenities like basic beauty products, coffee, tea, water kettle, bidet, TV, and mini-fridge. There is a fitness/health center (opens at 8 AM) and full restaurant and bar. The hotel is convenient located within walking distance to various restaurants, bars, cafes, the Villa Borghese gardens, and the Spagna & Barberini metro lines for additional access to central Rome. I will definitely be back here for future visits to Rome!

As soon as I arrived at the grand hotel palace we was greeted by the kind faces behind the reception , The lady behind the desk recognized that it was my birthday and upgraded us to a beautiful suite with an absolutely stunning view . The room was very clean. It was modern and had beautiful marble floors the house keepers left us chocolates and a cake for my birthday and also a bottle of prosecco wich we are thankful for! We also went to the spa wich is a lovely escape from the city and relaxing we got the whole spa to ourself for one hour including a steam room jacuzzi and pool . We had breakfast included and they had a variety of options including cereals ,pastries ,hams and cheeses they had yoghurt and jams and different juices. They also had a hot selection. This hotel is also located in a perfect safe neighborhood that is a 15 minute walk from the Trevor fountain. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was so lovely and the staff were very welcoming and kind . Thank you so much for my lovely stay and birthday wishes I highly recommend this hotel perfectly located in Rome!
