With an enviable location on the central, fashionable Via del Corso, the Grand Hotel Plaza is one of the most prestigious hotels in Rome. The Plaza has been a hotel since 1837 and since you walk through is doors you will be immersed in elegance and grandeur the minute you walk in. The rooms and suites are very spacious, styled with high Victorian ceilings, large marble bathrooms, period furniture and oriental rugs. Many guests can also enjoy a great view over the garden. The hotel is throwing in complimentary airport transfers and a free cocktail on arrival.

Fabulous Hotel! From start to finish. They greeted us at our taxi, grabbed our luggage and escorted us to the front desk. Staff and hosts were amazing and very inviting. Huge thanks to our bellhop “Marco” and our Jr. Host “Matteo” - you truly add to the grandeur and history of this beautiful hotel and City! Our room was incredible with 20ft ceilings. The bathroom was accommodating, clean and modern. Bed was clean, comfortable and room was inviting and radiant. Location is in the Heart of the City near all the attractions! Service was impeccable - Five Star Rating! We’ve stayed at many hotels throughout the world and this experience was one of the best! Keep up the good work Grand Hotel Plaza we will definitely be back!

We had a great time in the Grand Plaza Hotel.Location is excellent. You can walk to lots of famous cultural places. Staff is very friendly. Head of booking and reception staff very proffesionaly orienteted. Rooms suited with old style soffisticated furniture, which coresponds to the history and ellegance of the hotel. Pillows are the excellent!

Here now and I can tell you pictures of rooms on their website aren’t the rooms you get. Door to room doesn’t close on its own, toilet seat only has one bolt holding it on, barely any hot water and best yet there’s a curb that has caution tape on it in our room

I would say DO NOT STAY HERE! The AC does not work. The hotel does not care. The bed is a rock. The only positive of the hotel is the balcony we were uncharged. For. My son slept out there because it was so hot. I have not heard back from the hotel about any of our concerns

My son and I stayed in a family room with two separate bedrooms and have currently booked for four nights at a massive cost of well over €3000. The hotel facilities in the rooms are worse than you would get in a Travelodge in the UK. There are no flannels in the bathroom, no teal coffee making facilities, the two bedroom doors don't actually shut, the safe was so complicated and contained no instructions and even the staff member sent to help had to take 15 minutes to figure out how to shut it. There appear to be open electric sockets above the shower, the basin whilst clean has limescale all over the base of the taps. If you look on the website it would appear to show wonderful views across the city... we are staring at a brick wall. On the plus side, it is at least close to all of the attractions of ancient Rome but that is all I can say to recommend it. I would avoid it all costs
