The Hotel de Russie is hands down, one of my favorite hotels in the world. I am always so delighted to be able to return. Being there in May was an absolute dream. The weather was perfect, all of the flowers were in bloom (you smelled Jasmine everywhere!), and Rome was bustling but not too busy. The rooms at the de Russie are exquisite and the staff was so kind this time to provide connecting rooms for me and my husband and our two children. We also had my parents with us, who had never been to Europe, and they absolutely adored being at the de Russie. Mario was our server at breakfast each morning and he made my parents feel so welcomed and cared for. Mario is an absolute master at hospitality service, particularly with non-Italian speakers. The entire staff was so kind and patient with our kids too. The concierge organized a babysitter for us three different days, helped with dinner reservations, and even seamlessly extended our stay at the last minute. There must have been someone staying at our hotel who was very important as we noticed quite a bit of security and police. But when my dad asked who was there, the staff very kindly reminded him that they do not share information about the guests. I thought it was a very professional way to handle the situation! The gardens are amazing, the food is excellent, the service is beyond compare... what can I say, when I am not at the de Russie, I always wish I was!

The Hotel de Russie is an exquisite property right in the heart of the most romantic city on earth. Each time we stay, I am in awe of the beauty and service that we receive. We especially love the morning breakfast in the garden with Mario and his staff. They do a wonderful job and the selection of items is perfection. We will stay here time and time again.

A wonderful hotel and the staff were so welcoming and helpful We had a room on the 5th floor and whilst views were limited the room itself was very good Breakfast in the gardens every morning was a joyful experience and Mario Sciasia, the manager of the restaurant was wonderful, engaging and humorous and took the time to teach me some Italian

We have stayed at the Hotel de Russie many times and it is always a treat. The rooms have recently been updated and are looking better than ever. The bed is extremely comfortable (I like a firm mattress, and I’m very tempted to see if I can find this mattress for my home). Our suite during this stay is absolutely beautifully furnished . Breakfast at the Jardin de Russie is always a highlight, and the longtime manager is delightful and helpful (as are all the staff). The concierge team is excellent, always able to make top recommendations for dining and excursions (with very knowledgeable guides if desired). My only minor complaint would be that the lunch/dinner food at the Jardin de Russie is good, but the menu could be a bit more extensive and interesting. It is a bit difficult to push the envelope at a hotel restaurant, but it certainly can be done. It is always a treat to dine in the stunning garden, however! I tried the spa for the first time during this visit, with an Irene Forte facial, and thought it was excellent. The rooms all have Irene Forte products for use during the stay, which I appreciate given that the are a) very good and b) clean ingredients. Overall, we have had another wonderful stay at the Hotel de Russie!

Amazing hotel! The service from the concierge was top notch and they secured museum tix that were sold out and arranged great dinners. The breakfast in the garden was fabulous and the waiters were cheerful and catered to every request. The inner courtyard view was enjoyable as it felt like you were outside the city.
