Hotel Sina Bernini Bristol

Excellent hotel for our brief stay. We stayed here just one night at the end of our two week trip to Italy. Picked it for easy access back to the airport. The location provides easy access to the tourist sites and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

What makes this hotel special: Its location in the Piazza Barberini is located right in the heart of old Rome and almost all the historic sights are within a reasonable walking distance. Additionally, it has an amazing rooftop restaurant (II Vizio). However, a note while II Vizio has good Italian dishes it is primarily a Japanese restaurant. I will share that II Vizio's sushi is the only place I have been that can rival the sushi at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant at the Four Seasons in Maui. Additional observations: Our hotel room was very nice and we had a balcony which was fun to sit outside at night with a glass of wine listening to the city. The staff was friendly and there always seemed to be plenty available to help. We extend a particular thank you to the concierge for arranging our car from the airport and for answering our various questions about the city during our pre-planning. The workout area is nice and has various equipment, which was kept in good working order. This hotel has an affiliation with Marriott and is part of its autograph collection so making reservation through the Marriott app was easy. Some things to be prepared for: This is not so much for this hotel in particular, but if you have not stayed in a European hotel that is housed in an old building, be prepared for the fact not all the rooms are uniform in shape and sometimes the arrangements can seem strange compared to the squared rooms of many North American hotels. Also, more and more the rooms have showers only, so if you want a bathtub make sure to ask in advance. Finally, don't forget your converters if you want to charge your phone, watch and tablets at night. We stayed three nights and would certainly consider staying again if we return to Rome.

Sina Bernini Bristol is a luxurious 5⭐ hotel in the heart of Rome on Piazza Barberini, right opposite the famous Triton Fountain. Perfectly located: Barberini metro station is just across the street, making Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and Villa Borghese a 5–15 minute walk. Via Veneto with its cafés and boutiques is nearby, and Termini station is about 15 minutes on foot. Elegant rooms, attentive staff, and the rooftop panoramic restaurant make for an unforgettable dinner with views of Rome’s domes.

I stayed at a suite at the Sina Bernini Bristol in March 2026 with my two kids (9 and 11). The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the overall hotel felt new and fresh. Breakfast was included in our stay and while there were many choices at breakfast it felt a bit crowded at times. It was centrally located within easy walking of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps but not so close that it felt like you had to navigate hordes of tourists every time you stepped out the door. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Rome!

Great location! A quick walk to the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon, and a bit more of a walk (but doable) to the colosseum. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. 50 minute walk one way to the Vatican.
