This is a great hotel for any traveller seeking a super comfortable place to rest within reach to all the famous sites. The design of the lobby bar and restaurant was elegant and comfortable and made it easy to relax, especially with the live music performances! The comfortable design was also evident for our suite and the bathroom. The service from the staff was very professional and responsive. Would stay here again next time in Rome.

The St Regis is pretty well located in Rome, not far from Piazza Del Republica and the main train station, Termini. It is a short walk to Spanish Steps and within 30min walk to the Pantheon and the Coliseum. These can be shorted to 5-10mins in a taxi. There are taxis outside the hotel at all times. We arrived from the airport via Blacklane Car Service. The hotel can also arrange car service via the Concierge if you need it. The travel time was about 45mins in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. We stayed in a larger room on the 3rd floor overlooking the Piazza. The windows and curtains do an AMAZING job of sound insulation - even with trafffic and activities going on we couldn’t hear any of it!. The room is well air conditioned so it’s your choice to open the windows for air and a little noise or have some quietness. The room was a great size for us and our luggage. There was ample wardrobe space and room for the contents of 2 large suitcases and 2 carry on. The Hotel offers pressing service and laundry, both of which we used and were happy with. The bathroom has a large deep tub, a separate shower and separate toilet. Although only a single vanity, it was fine for 2 people getting ready at the same time. The bed was soft and comfortable. It’s all a matter of preference in how firm you like your mattress. The main room ha da couch and a TV with desk and chair. More than adequate for a few nights We used the concierge to get some recommendations for nearby cafe’s and to book a hair stylist. Again, very happy with the service. The only down service was the room service. We ordered 2 Caesar salads one evening. They were not good. The dish used butter lettuce versus Romaine, the dressing was bland and certainly had no anchovy it, the chicken was bland and there appeared to be ‘shaved’ boiled egg as part of the dish. Perhaps some would like this - it was not to our taste. We would certainly stay here again.

We spent five wonderful nights at the St. Regis Rome with my wife and our 11-year-old son, and this was hands-down the best hotel experience I’ve had since my honeymoon. From the moment we checked in, it was clear this stay would truly be something special. As we were settling in, the Butler personally brought our son a St. Regis Rome t-shirt - an incredibly thoughtful gesture that immediately made him feel like a valued guest rather than just a child traveling with his parents. While we stepped out for some initial exploring of the city, the team prepared an unexpected and beautiful welcome in our room. When we returned, we found a bottle of champagne, fresh fruit, and festive Easter treats waiting for us. It was such a classy, generous touch and set the tone for the exceptional service we experienced throughout our stay. A very special and heartfelt thank-you to Alessia and Francesca, who work in the hotels restaurant and cocktail bar, Lumen. They were highlights not only of our stay at the St. Regis Rome, but genuinely among the most memorable parts of our entire trip to Italy. It’s hard to put into words how special they made our time feel - through warmth, sincerity, and a level of care that went far beyond exceptional service. Alessia surprised us with a beautiful baked item from Easter to take home, and gave me great recommendations for cocktails. Francesca went out of her way to gift our son a stuffed wolf named “Lupa”, dressed in a St. Regis Rome t-shirt. Our son collects stuffed animals from our family trips, and this act of kindness created a memory he will carry forever. Even after leaving for Venice, we found ourselves still talking about Alessia and Francesca and how deeply they impacted our experience and our lives. Experiences like this are the reason people remember a trip long after returning home. Elena was also outstanding, always making sure we were seated in our favorite area of the beautiful “Blue Room” for both breakfast and cocktails. This did not go unnoticed and added greatly to our enjoyment to have a dedicated spot so to speak. Our room was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable - everything you would expect from the St. Regis brand. We also enjoyed dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant, Lumen, and the tuna tartare appetizer was easily one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. It was included for two of us thanks to my Marriott Titanium status (we happily paid for our son), and it was absolutely worth it. Eggs cooked to order, endless options of excellent pastries and cakes, bacon, fresh fruit - everything was top quality. And of course, as many perfectly made cappuccinos as I wanted. What ultimately sets the St. Regis Rome apart isn’t just the elegance of the building or the comfort of the rooms (I’ve experienced that too many times to count) - it’s without a doubt the people. The care, warmth, and genuine hospitality we experienced made all the difference. I truly cannot wait to return someday, and this hotel will absolutely be my first choice when I do. -Jordan and Becky V.

We were greeted so kindly, our room was ready and beautiful. We got an upgrade and our room was extremely comfortable, their amenities were perfect as you would expect from a St Regis. They have a complementary vehicle that can drive you where you desire if available. Staff was lovely, had a wonderful time!

I will be leaving this review anywhere I can because this hotel truly deserves every bit of recognition. During our stay, we experienced something very unsettling… an unexpected knock on our door at 3:00 AM. It frightened me, and when my boyfriend checked, no one was there, which made the situation even more uneasy. I immediately contacted the front desk, and they responded quickly by sending security to check the floor. Although I didn’t sleep the rest of the night, I felt that the team took the situation seriously. The next morning, I called to request a room change. Daniel handled the situation with such professionalism and care. He sincerely apologized, reassured us that the matter was being looked into, and let us know it would be their pleasure to move us. When we were ready, the team promptly came to assist us with relocating to a new room. When we arrived, the concierge (I unfortunately did not catch her name) went above and beyond. She offered a heartfelt apology and even provided us with a voucher to the restaurant, which was completely unexpected but deeply appreciated. This is what true exceptional customer service looks like. I felt heard, valued, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience. What stood out the most is that the team did not dismiss or minimize what we went through…they acknowledged it and responded with urgency, empathy, and professionalism. I am still honestly in awe of how everything was handled. I have never experienced a hotel respond to a situation like this with such grace and attentiveness. Thank you to each and every one of you… it truly meant more than you know.
