10 rooms in the hotel + 49 “residences” that are made up of 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. Most with private pools in a private garden area. Some with kitchens. The area is secluded and I would say meant to be a “ go-rest and relax” A nod to its Italian heritage, hence the Meneghetti name, this Croatian owned property should ONLY be visited if you want to be spoiled! Impressive on all levels. The property is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. They produce both quality wines and olive oils. Wine production is stated at 100k bottles, yet the winery production appears smaller. Wine tour is limited in scope, while wine tasting area is updated and modern. Red blend is the go-to! Adult only pool in a world class spa. No way you can’t find a water treatment to fall in love with. Outdoor common area pool is beautiful surrounded by vineyards, comfortable seating and food and beverage amenities. Beach club is beautiful but a drive 2.5 km away and not an easy drive. TAKE the SHUTTLE only! Rough road. But one beautiful ending to the road. WATER SHOES are a must on this classic, rocky Croatian beach. Crystal clear water, great food and lounging accommodations. Food is phenomenal. Breakfast included has any option you can imagine with prepared to order items. Dinner was great and no real options to dine off site. But you won’t want to. Monkfish and sea bass dishes were incredible, while veal chop and ravioli with regional truffles equally high quality. But, like most places it’s the STAFF! Isabella is young in age but mature beyond her years in this business as a hotel ambassador/concierge. ANYTHING should be her middle name! Luka is behind the bar and will be a great teacher to Ivan who just wants to dig in and be helpful. Others abound and like most Croatians just want to serve happiness and satisfaction! They all succeeded.

I had high expectations based on the hotel’s website, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. What is advertised on website and what you actually get on at the hotel are completely different. We clearly stated in our reservation that I am vegan and requested the multigrain bread. None of these dietary requirements were respected. Worse still, the seed bread served at breakfast was refused to us during lunch , only white bread was offered. The staff showed no flexibility or willingness to accommodate even the simplest requests. Given the price, we expected much more. We initially planned to return next month and were ready to make another booking upon arrival but after this experience, we completely changed our minds. The hotel website heavily promotes yoga classes, fresh juices, and healthy cuisine but none of this is actually provided. There are no yoga sessions available unless they manage to call an instructor from a nearby city, which would take several days to arrange. Freshly squeezed juices? Not available. Instead, they serve pre-made smoothies stored in jars prepared in advance, not fresh at all. Even the vanity set in the room was disappointing. A couple of cotton swabs and a single nail file were the only items provided and that is all. There were no basic hygiene products you’d expect from a hotel of this category. For a hotel that presents itself as high-end and wellness-oriented, this felt inappropriate and poorly thought out. We also booked spa treatments and massages, which, to be fair, were pleasant in terms of the therapists’ work. However, the ambient noise coming from outside the treatment rooms made it very hard to fully relax. The environment lacked the serenity and peace you’d expect from a wellness facility. Misleading advertising, unprofessional service, minimal healthy food options, and a lack of basic amenities make this stay far from worth the price. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wellness retreat or even a decent hospitality experience. To end our stay, we tried to book dinner at the hotel’s only restaurant, but were told it was fully booked. We had to go somewhere else and ended up at Lucky Restaurant nearby the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and professional. Highly recommended! P.s.during the conversation with the manager, we were offered gifts that we strictly refused, after the final problem regarding the reservation where we were refused, as I have already stated. After all those problems, they gave us that one night in the standard room , btw, we had a standard room and a room of the highest category there.

This just needs to be said - The Meneghetti Wine Hotel and Winery is the BIGGEST scam out there. Totally built on deception. Marketed in such way that you get to be ripped off either way. Terrible service and total ripp off in terms of food and staff. STAY AWAY FROM MENEGHETTI

First of all, the setting is unreal. In the middle of nowhere, yet within a short drive from Bale, Pula, Rovinj, you will find the beautiful Tuscani style grounds of Meneghetti. We booked one of the 10 hotel rooms in the main building, but there are 48 or so villas as well. The entrance lane, the pool deck, the gardens with its sculptures, the garden restaurant, even the vegetable garden, everything is kept immaculate and exudes tranquility. We loved the table-served breakfast with ample choice of dishes, fresh orange juice, cappucino. The dinner we had was excellent, and we also tried the wine tasting in the nearby winery. Not cheap but part of the experience. The thing that makes it special though is its staff, ever friendly and attentive. As someone wrote, this is definitely one of those places you will remember as “special”.

To be clear: 'Meneghetti' is one of those places that deserves something more than a perfect "5" - everything was excellent (and beyond) for our stay there. Our two nights were made to feel like half of a week, with world-class, exceptional service, fine dining and filling, comforting, and healthy breakfast options, and the wine! Lounge around the spa pool (or one of two outdoor shared pools); hike the vineyards or down to their rocky beach; sidle over to their tasting room for some different wines; take a drive into Bale (short 15-minute drive from the winery) or a bit further north to Rovinj or south to Pula; simply lounge and read/daydream/write in your luxurious room. [They even have bikes to lend out, tennis court, children's playground, and a driving range!] This place is special! While their "beach club" was closed, it was mid-October and the hike down to the water was still nice. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!
