Safety Harbor Resort & Spa offers a relaxing escape in Safety Harbor, Florida. The location on the waterfront is beautiful, with lovely views of the bay. The spa services are excellent, with a variety of treatments to choose from, including massages, facials, and body wraps. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, providing a great spot to relax. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though some could use a bit of updating. Overall, a great spot for a rejuvenating getaway.

Was hesitant due to the number of unfavorable reviews, but took a chance and glad we did. Our room and bathroom was spacious, much more so that a normal, everyday hotel. The bathroom tub/faucet was showing it's age more that anything else in the room. But we got a kick out of it as it's a throwback to childhood if you grew up in the 60s/70s. Is it old? Yes. Does it show some dated decor and wear and tear? Yes. But we went in knowing that and thinking of it as an historical place and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was so nice. The grounds and common areas are beautiful. We enjoyed the piano bar at night. We went to the pool, which was pretty crowded, but we found 4 chairs for our family eventually and were fine. I do wish a resort of that scale had a larger pool area... but it was okay. We didn't eat at the resort, so can't speak of that. Location was great for Main Street shopping/dining. Overall, we enjoyed it and would definitely not hesitate to go back again.

I read many bad reviews and couldn’t disagree more. We had a wonderful stay. I understand it is the only hotel in Safety Harbor so they can charge what they want. Our room was ready an hour early. It was huge. I felt like we had the best view! We spent time at the tiki bar and ordered take out for later. There is a fridge and microwave in the rooms. They host a cornhole league, so we were able to sit on our balcony and watch them play. The property was lovely, and service was great. I plan to stay here again soon!

I've been going to the spa at safety harbor, FL for over 30 years. It has seen a lot of changes in that time. My visit this past week was perfect. My spa services were excellent. I have requested Diane for facials for years. Always the best! She is a top notch pro. Also had a stone crop wrap with Patricia which was perfect and amazing,she is also top notch. The room was great. Improved in the past years. No carpet, clean and nice location off the pool and close to the spa. I ate lunch in the Cafe, salmon was tasty. Ordered tapas V for dinner -mediocre. The staff was very helpful and friendly. At times over 30 years that has not always been the case. It was exactly what I needed - relaxing !

Wellness package/Spafinders Selected this resort as it accepted Spafinders gift certificates, what a find! Beautiful spa but but everything service and care shown by the wellness staff is unparalleled. Even the hotel staff and restaurant hostess must be mentioned as exceptional. The 6 night wellness package, including my bay front room exceeded expectations . The fitness staff was experienced, concerned, fun and made me feel like part of the membership. One has to remember it's a resort spa not a destination spa. I fell in love with the mineral baths, worked out 2-4 hours daily, used the pools and sauna, never had an achy morning. I will return.
