Wonderful stay at the Rufflets
We had a wonderful stay at the mallard cabin lodge in the woods which is a relatively new room at the hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated with lots of great touches - we enjoyed the Robert’s radio and the log woodfire. The room had lots of storage options and it’s clear that every aspect had been thought about- water milk and cookies were supplied. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel - including perhaps the best haggis iver ever had - there are plenty of options from help yourself continental items to eggs Benedict- all was well cooked and tasty. Staff were extremely helpful, kind and welcoming - particularly Barbara, Islay and the wonderful Ms Nathalie who doted on our 3 year old daughter and made her visit to the hotel very memorable! I think she will want to come back to ‘the big house’ as she called it! Thank you Nathalie This was a lovely hotel visit, taxis were on call and town onlu a short distance away - they cost c £7.50. We also enjoyed some lovely walks around the grounds abd kitchen gardens which are well kept. rufflets is a classic hotel with some old school glamour - it’s not a modern Hilton - but for me was an extremely memorable and welcoming stay that I will cherish

Wedding Anniversary
Having been married at the hotel in summer 2024, we returned for one nights stay for our first anniversary. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and our room was wonderful. The gardens are looking great and it was lovely to walk around and reminisce about our special day from the previous year.

Rufflets St Andrews
Nice one night stay in superior room type. Hotel is nice, lovely outdoor terrace space and gardens. Room was spacious, modern bathroom with separate bath and shower, bedroom decor is a bit dated. Public spaces could stand a bit of refurbishment. Staff were excellent, if a bit short handed. Would certainly return.

Beautiful hotel a short distance from St Andrews
We truly loved out stay at Rufflets! The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are exquisite. We were on holiday with another couple, and we stayed in 2 of the Woodland Suites. They are adorable and very well made. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Rufflets for 3 days while visiting St Andrew’s. Very friendly staff and the breakfasts were the best we had anywhere in Europe!
