A great weekend
A great stay - coming back after many years - beautiful property and location. Dinner in the restaurant is a must and do enjoy St Andrews itself

Pretty disappointed.
We were looking forward to visiting this hotel again but we were very disappointed with our couple of days. The good points. Reception and dining room staff were really nice and couldn’t have been more helpful. Nice large room with a very comfortable bed. Nice grounds for a stroll after dinner. The bad points. We had to wait over half an hour for our bacon and eggs on both days and the dining room was not very busy. We left our room at 9.30 on our second day and returned at 14.00 to find that the room had not been made up. We advised reception but after a wait of over 2 hours it was still not available. We had intended eating at the hotel but gave up and went into town to eat. On returning home I emailed my complaints to the hotel, I am still waiting for any acknowledgment .

Lovely
We had a most enjoyable afternoon tea at Rufflets. Warmly welcomed, we were shown to our table by a very polite trainee waitress. We didn't have long to wait for the food and speciality tea -- Rufflets 50th anniversary blend. One small groan: insufficient parking spaces made worse by inconsiderate parkers taking up too much room. Apart from that it was a lovely place to visit and enjoy. Special mention: Sam our waitress was superb.

The perfect weekend break!
Everything was perfect! Comfy beds large rooms beautiful location. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. We also had dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, in formative but not intrusive. Food was delicious!
