If and only if you appreciate TOP quality, historic ambiance, gorgeous gardens, EXCELLENT service, a quiet setting close to downtown St. Augustine and beautifully appointed rooms, then The Collector Inn is the perfect place to stay! I could not have enjoyed my visit more and I hope to return sooner than later for another 5 star experience.

Highly recommended

This place was recommended to us by fellow travelers and it did not disappoint. We loved the unique layout, the rooms and the gardens. We also enjoyed the drinks and superb charcuterie tray from the Well. We got the Romance package and were happy we did, with the St Augustine bourbon and Old Fashioned mix, plus charcuterie tray and mugs. Be sure and do the tour with Charley if you can. Well worth the time. Lovely, historical place. We hope to return soon.

St Augustine 60 th birthday

Just came back from a wonderful week in St Augustine. We stayed at The Collector and had a wonderful experience. We stayed at the Rose house bottom floor which was very nice. There was a door out to the back deck which was very nice but we preferred the front porch seating area very comfortable and beautiful. This place is really centrally located to walk to many places however you probably want to drive to some historic locations and restaurants. They have valet parking and everyone we met was very helpful and nice. All the staff worked very hard to keep this place so beautiful. If you do stay on a bottom floor you will hear noise above you people walking around these houses are beautiful but historic and this is expected. My wife and I could not have stayed at a nicer place. Thank you to everyone who works there.

This collection of beautiful historic houses sits among lovely gardens. The accommodations are spacious, impeccably maintained, and perfectly clean. The staff are genuinely friendly and quick to help or offer a suggestion. The bathrooms within these historic houses and large and modern. The beds are very comfortable. The continental breakfast is excellent in both quality and offerings -- definitely a cut above the typical continental breakfast. The location is great. You are within a few minutes walk to the historic district, but removed from the hustle and bustle of that area. If possible, leave time in your itinerary to simply spend time at The Collector: sit and enjoy the gardens, read a book, enjoy conversation with friends or other guests, sip a coffee or enjoy a beverage by a fire pit in the evening. Be sure to take the tour given by the manager of The Collector. It is both entertaining and fascinating for history and non-history buffs alike.

Perfect spot for a great stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The Collector exceeded our expectations. The location and room were perfect...a short/safe walk to/from the historic district. The Well is a perfect spot for a drink and to mingle with the other guests. The breakfast was much more than the tradition continental breakfast that a lot of the other B&B's. offer. The staff was very friendly and accommodative.
