Villa Marie Saint-Barth

This was our first time in St Barth’s and Gyp Sea was absolutely the right choice. Leading up to our trip the reception staff was immensely helpful with recommending every lunch and dinner and making the reservations. I was in constant contact with them for two weeks and they absolutely went above and beyond to make a milestone birthday weekend perfect. The hotel is an absolute gem, a secluded getaway with the nicest people. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. And with a free shuttle to the hotel’s beach club we had the most seamless experience with having a perfect beach set up every day. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at the Gyp Sea, which proved to be our best ever accommodations. Our beautiful, consistently cleaned room had a stunning view of the water below and was only a skip away from the hotel’s beautiful pool, around which we had a full service, full menu complementary breakfast served by the nicest staff. Owing to the hard work of the concierge team, we had lunch, dinner and after at all the fun, in restaurants. Our itinerary was absolutely full and all I had to do was request assistance scheduling activities/meals. Further, we were able to get rides whenever needed, even if that meant the hotel had to come pick us up at 3am! (Thank you!) The beach club was filled with fun guests and attentive service. I cannot recommend the Gyp Sea highly enough, and we had stayed preciously in St. Barthes at more expensive, larger, more hyped hotels. Those were great experiences but this was by far the best!!! We had a great visit. The staff were very attentive, kind, welcoming, and professional. The views from the bungalows are beautiful, and the accommodations are deluxe, spacious, and very clean. It was a beautiful, peaceful place to begin and end our days. We also enjoyed spending time a the beach club where chairs can be reserved for Gypsy Sea guests. Make sure to have dinner one night at the restaurant. You may have the dining room to yourself, and you will really enjoy it. We will definitely return.

We had an amazing experience at Gypsea Hotel! My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed there for a short mother-daughter trip after the holidays, and it was incredibly relaxing. The hotel is nestled in a tropical garden paradise. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite—the view was breathtaking, and the amenities were excellent. The staff were incredibly kind, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I loved that the hotel preserved the authentic colonial-era charm of St. Barths. We even went hiking to Colombier, which is accessible by foot from the hotel. It’s the perfect getaway if you want to escape the busy St. Jean and reset in a charming boutique hotel. We also enjoyed excellent massages, and I took a morning “jungle” yoga class under the tropical trees—it was absolutely recharging!

The location of the beach is the best from the whole island. The hotel part is 10 mins away - recommended is to use the hotel shuttle or to rent a car (taxis are expensive, 50 eur each direction). Atmosphere of the hotel is really attractive, friendly staff, lovely and peaceful area around the pool. Rooms were always clean with daily change of the sheets. We had only one night a noisy neighbours, but overall our experience was amazing! Highly recommend!
