Six Senses La Sagesse

I had an amazing three-day stay at Six Senses La Sagesse. The property is stunning, set on La Sagesse Bay with a peaceful lagoon. My room was beautifully finished, the spa was excellent, and the food had a great mix of local and international flavors. There is also a Kids Club that looked like it would be fun for kids, however I didn’t bring mine. Quiet, relaxing, and luxurious—I’ll definitely be back!

Exceptional Stay at Six Senses Grenada – A Truly Unforgettable Experience From the moment I arrived at Six Senses Grenada, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The resort effortlessly blends luxury, sustainability, and heartfelt hospitality in a way that few places can. The natural beauty of Grenada is breathtaking on its own, but the way Six Senses enhances and protects it through thoughtful design and eco-conscious practices is truly commendable. Every member of the team—from the front desk to housekeeping, wellness, and dining—embodied warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. It wasn’t just service; it was connection. I felt not only looked after, but truly welcomed. The room was beautifully appointed, with serene views, thoughtful touches, and a sense of privacy and peace that made it easy to unwind completely. I also deeply appreciated the attention to wellness throughout the resort — from the spa offerings and healthy dining options to the calm, grounding atmosphere that encourages true relaxation. What stood out most, however, was the resort’s commitment to sustainability. It’s clear that Six Senses doesn’t just talk about it — they live it. From reducing single-use plastics to celebrating local culture and supporting the community, everything felt purposeful and aligned with a greater mission. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable and meaningful experience. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of returning.

We chose to stay at Six Senses Grenada in August 2025 for our babymoon, partly because we’re IHG status cardholders and have had great experiences at Six Senses Fiji and Koh Samui. We decided to pay for the stay with half board rather than using points since the deal was reasonable. Another factor was the low Zika risk in Grenada, which was important as I’m pregnant, plus the resort itself is brand new (just about a year old). Pros • Spacious room with a private plunge pool • Delicious food across the board—every meal was excellent • Complimentary upgrade to an ocean-view room • Gorgeous natural setting overlooking two bays and the mountains • Well-curated daily itinerary with varied activities • Outstanding yoga instructor (Sandeep from Rishikesh, India) offering multiple meditation and yoga sessions daily • Calming, restorative atmosphere • Lovely spa with good amenities; treatments felt fairly priced with a 25% discount • Grand Anse Beach is stunning with crystal-clear water (though the hotel shuttle dropped us at a less desirable spot where we were hassled—recommend heading toward the Savvy or Mount Cinnamon side instead) • Comfortable bed (though only felt like a queen) • Decent air conditioning • Perfectly maintained pool temperatures Cons • The hotel’s beach is disappointing: murky Atlantic water, lots of seaweed, and sand fleas • The location feels remote—going into town costs over $100 round trip, though in fairness, the island in general doesn’t offer many alternatives • Service was consistently underwhelming: • Housekeeping: Missed basics like replenishing shampoo and soap, forgot to replace robes and had to ask for them, and ignored repeated requests for a top sheet (when delivered, it was just left folded on the bed) • Pool service: Almost nonexistent until after we complained—no greetings, no water offered, and one iced tea order took over an hour • Restaurant: Occasional shortages, slow service, and expensive pricing (e.g., charged $10 dollars for a single iced tea and $10 for each refill for $30 total). Dining can be very expensive if not on the meal plan • Guest Experiences: Unreliable—disappeared for two days with no reassignment, often unresponsive, and follow-through was poor (e.g., dietary needs noted but not met, maintenance and housekeeping requests weren’t followed up) • No acknowledgment of our babymoon—no special touches or gestures to mark the occasion Finally upon checkout we recieved our final bill with multiple errors such as double charging us for dinner. Overall The property itself is beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the wellness offerings (especially yoga and spa) are excellent. However, the service fell short of what we expect from Six Senses, especially considering the brand’s reputation and price point. With more consistent hospitality and attention to detail, this resort could be truly outstanding, but right now, it feels like it’s still finding its footing.

Six Senses Grenada does an absolutely wonderful job blending an intimate experience with the environment of Grenada. The walk to the restaurant was a well-lit and direct path through the compound. I ate fresh figs off of the tree, Googled about 7 different flowers and fruit species, walked past the outdoor mobility course, adult pool, and stared longingly at the spa across the lagoon. I met my dive buddies at the Sea Fire restaurant, which rests directly on the coastline, and every table offers an oceanside view. The seasonal menu offered a refreshing watermelon salad, steak tartare over bone marrow garnished with a poached egg, and a slow-roasted duck with smoked eggplant. And that was just the appetizers! Butternut squash barley risotto, ribeye with the freshest chimichurri, and succulent pork. Neither meat dish needed a knife to cut and every bite —no matter the combination— was stupendous. I was the only member of the table who wanted dessert (get the chocolate option, it's native to the island!) however three spoons came and we could not resist. Apart from the Sea Fire, Six Senses also has a sushi bar, and a third restaurant with equally impressive plating options during traditional meal hours.

Very, very special hotel. Rooms are spacious, cozy and invite to enjoy the surrounding nature. In room infinite pools offer the chance of enjoying the views from them or a night swim. The near by beach is ideal to relax, for a walk or water sports. Last but not least food at any of the restaurants is first division.
