With a distinct charm only found in the West Indies, Grenada is known for its tranquil bays, gentle island breezes, warmhearted and welcoming vibe. Secluded by verdant green hills on the south coast, the much anticipated Six Senses La Sagesse sits between a crescent shaped bay and L'Anse Pere ocean front, set around a shimmering lagoon. The newly built and sustainably driven resort mimics a picturesque Caribbean village, influenced by the region’s traditional architecture. There are 56 pool suites, combining eco-credentials and comfort all with outdoor terraces leading to a private plunge pool. 15 villas enjoy a prime hillside or oceanfront setting, ranging between one, two, and four bedrooms. The five four-bedroom villas located on a Bluff offer a 270-degree view of one of the most coveted locations in the Caribbean. This jewel is bursting with things to do and places to explore for the whole family.

The resort is beautiful, staff super friendly and accommodating. The rooms; gorgeous views, wonderful little private plunge pool, very comfortable beds and pillows. Housekeeping service twice a day with little treats for us almost every day. Spa services were out of this world. Husband had the best massage ever, by Rihanna. She was a maestro. Pools were beautiful. Overall, extremely peaceful and lovely. Our only criticism was the limited choice for restaurants, often one was closed and breakfast and lunch (and often dinner), were served in the same place. Overall food was good, but limited selection and oftentimes wasn’t hot. Granted, they’ve only been open for a year, so we expect the restaurant service will improve with time.

We are very picky high-end frequent travelers - this is definitely a 5+ star property. The food is very good, the staff are well trained and do truly care about the guests. Rooms are comfortable and facilities are very nice. The setting is beautiful. They do go above and beyond expectations. We would come back. Only downside is the spa is very noisy - most resorts have an age requirement (12+ or 18+) for hanging out at the spa, but here there isn’t one, so you have crying infants and toddlers running around the spa pool shrieking, just 20 feet from your spa casita where you’re trying to have a relaxing massage. There really should be an age requirement so that people trying to relax at the spa and paying a lot for their treatments aren’t being disturbed.

The bottom line is that the Six Senses La Sagesse lives up to its name. It delivers an authentic, luxurious holiday experience with wellness at its core. We enjoyed four nights in a panoramic ocean view suite and not only was the room delightful, the service took the whole experience over the top. Anna Marie, Theresa, Dwayne and the entire front desk staff went above and beyond to help us with our every request (of which there were many). One of the GEMs even set up a personalized babymoon photoshoot that incorporated several areas of the property and beach. The exercise class and yoga with Sandeep was fantastic. My wife and I spent a day at the spa which included a prenatal massage for her and a deep tissue for myself, and both were some of the best we've had. Thank you for a rejuvenating experience -- we'll be back!

From the weeks prior to our vacation all the way until checkout, this Six Senses proved to be a magical experience for our family of 5. The GEMs that we worked with, Dwayne (prior to arrival) and Ann Marie (during our stay), were detailed oriented, consistently checking in with us over the 5 days. Ece, one of the managers, also made sure we all of our needs were met. So many personal touches, the staff is professional and very friendly. Loved the alchemy bar. While the food was outstanding, it was clear that there were some challenges in the dining department. Waitstaff always have a smile on their face but meals took a very long time to prepare if you didn't opt for the buffet. This goes for breakfast or dinner. Pool side food/beverage service was average but the offerings were delicious. Pool staff Kimon, Teon and Rickel were extremely attentive and personable. Getting a buggy to transport you to anywhere on the resort was usually not an issue. Spa staff were welcoming and the spa pool was a welcome quiet shaded getaway. Especially loved the yoga and meditation activities and fire ritual, all led by Sandeep. Rooms were spectacular, although mattresses are a little on the soft side. Overall, a 5 star accommodation on one of the most underrated Caribbean destinations, Grenada!

Had a great time at Six Senses! Biggest highlight for us were the people who work there! Teon and Emeron at the experience center gave us so many insights into what activities to do each day and we loved having the option to play pool and foosball when it rained. Everyone at breakfast greeted us with such a warm smile and started our day off well. Nerry led a great rum tasting class where we learned great info about local rum and he often gave us great advice on what to drink. Definitely recommend seven sisters waterfall experience! The steam room, sauna, and cold plunge also allowed us to still enjoy the resort when it rained. The only thing we found missing was active nightlight, which is to be expected of a newer development. The only option to experience nightlife was taking an expensive taxi ride to/from Grande Anse, but we felt it was worth the cost.
