With a distinct charm only found in the West Indies, Grenada is known for its tranquil bays, gentle island breezes, warmhearted and welcoming vibe. Secluded by verdant green hills on the south coast, the much anticipated Six Senses La Sagesse sits between a crescent shaped bay and L'Anse Pere ocean front, set around a shimmering lagoon. The newly built and sustainably driven resort mimics a picturesque Caribbean village, influenced by the region’s traditional architecture. There are 56 pool suites, combining eco-credentials and comfort all with outdoor terraces leading to a private plunge pool. 15 villas enjoy a prime hillside or oceanfront setting, ranging between one, two, and four bedrooms. The five four-bedroom villas located on a Bluff offer a 270-degree view of one of the most coveted locations in the Caribbean. This jewel is bursting with things to do and places to explore for the whole family.

The best hotel that I visit at this point. The service and people make the hotel A+++. The list is long of all the people who made my. vacation a dream vacation. Special thank you to Quinton, Emron and Leslian. These individuals mentioned take their job responsibilities to another level and I hope their organization recognize the value they bring to their brand. The entire staff from start to finish never disappoints. Cleaning staff A+ I wish I would have taken their names. All superb service and I thank you and appreciate all that you do. I will definitely be returning back.

We stayed for 5 nights and had all our meals at either of the two on-site restaurants. The resort is lovely and our ocean front room was great. Cleaning service was good however some nights they never do turn-down service. The site is beautiful and we liked the layout of the resort though they have used an awful lot of concrete to pave the pathways. Not what you would expect from a Six Senses resort. The staff is super friendly but there is a general sense of disorganization that you get as a guest. However their biggest issue is definitely the food which disappointed nearly at every meal we had. We have stayed at other Six Senses resorts including 3 in Bhutan and the food was amazing and skillfully prepared in all places. This is NOT the case in La Sagesse. The fish gets overcooked and the vegetarian alternatives are tasteless and rudely prepared. So don’t expect 5 star quality in the restaurants. This is unfortunate since the area do not offer any alternatives whatsoever.

Six Senses La Sagesse in Grenada is a remarkable destination that seamlessly combines luxurious comfort with the island’s stunning natural beauty. Situated on lovely beaches, the resort offers a calm side with gentle waves perfect for paddle boarding, wing surfing, hydrofoiling, prone surfing, and foil drive assist, all on a sandy, rock-free bottom that ensures safety and enjoyment for all skill levels. On the wild side, larger waves create excellent conditions for intermediate hydrofoiling, wing foiling, and prone surfing, making it a prime spot for thrilling downwind foiling adventures. The resort’s villas and rooms are elegantly designed to offer spectacular views and a tranquil atmosphere. Attentive and warm staff enhance the guest experience, while the Michelin-starred chef crafts exquisite dishes featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. There is a large choice of top-quality buffet and à la carte options for breakfast and lunch. Dining was excellent, and guests enjoy free ice cream in exotic flavors every day. The island’s north side features quiet, secluded beaches embraced by lush greenery, providing an ideal setting for peaceful relaxation away from the crowds. Beyond the shores, guests can explore breathtaking waterfalls and well-marked mountain trekking trails that showcase Grenada’s rich tropical landscape and diverse wildlife, offering immersive nature experiences. The spa at Six Senses La Sagesse is a sanctuary of wellness, offering rejuvenating treatments including massages, cold plunge pools, and sauna sessions that promote deep relaxation and healing. Top yoga and breathing classes are led by highly experienced instructors, providing guests with holistic practices that restore balance and vitality. Mountain bikes and electric bikes are available for guests, helping them discover the nearby beauty of the area. Overall, Six Senses La Sagesse is an exceptional retreat that appeals to those seeking serenity, luxury, and adventure amid some of the Caribbean’s most beautiful natural surroundings. We are already planning to return next year to explore even more of what this extraordinary destination has to offer.

The hotel is perfect for people looking for calm and quiet. The property is spread out and never feels crowded. Great food and drink offerings. Service is very friendly, albeit relaxed and not rushed. The pools are gorgeous. Spa is very extensive as is the gym. Rooms are spacious with great patios. Pricing very fair for a 5 star hotel. Overall, a great stay! It's a pro or a con depending on what you want out of your trip: the isolated location. If you're staying on or close to property, and relaxing more, then the secluded location is great (note: they're building an Intercontinental complex next door along with condos). If you're looking to bounce around Grenada and explore bars/restaurants and activities around Grand Anse, the 45 mins taxi each way could be frustrating (and expensive).

Strong sides: Real privacy, very good amenities, great spa Good restaurants Great attention from the staff (with limited housekeeping exceptions) Lots of nature, but it needs time to develop Needs improvement: sea grass makes the beach unusable. Don't even think of swimming. Mosquitos kept us indoors in the evenings. Restaurant 'special of the day' sometimes we're a disaster, with ramen taking the 1st place.
