This was my 5th stay at this hotel - my local staycation go-to. The hotel amenities make it feel like a nice little getaway: -Local Press is the onsite coffeeshop and has a lovely breakfast -Idol Wolf is great and if you can't get reservations, you can order off the menu at the hotel/restaurant bar... which also has amazing drinks -2nd floor art gallery -Lounge with shuffleboard and billiards -Indoor pool, hot tub, sauna -Well-equipped gym -Overall great artistic aesthetic But unfortunately over the past two years (since I first stayed), there has been a decline in experience. In particular, with the service and it seems like nothing has been maintained or touched up since it's opened. The issues experienced were small annoyances, but collectively make me question whether it's worth coming back. -My room wasn't available to check in until 7pm. 7pm! Luckily we planned to just hang out in the hotel lounge anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for us, but I'm glad we didn't have plans. No apologies or acknowledgment that our room was so delayed. -I did observe 3 other separate parties reporting issues with the front desk in my limited exposure to the desk, which may be telling. And for what it's worth, the front desk staff did not seem to be accommodating or apologetic to these people either -The bar area was full and had a wait - they promised they'd text when there was an opening (approx 20 min) but that text never came. I was also supposed to get a text when my room was ready, which also never came. -The door to my room was missing the plate over the door lock. So you just waved your room key over the mechanicals of the thing (why were they putting people in this room? Why wouldn't they fix it??) -Little things in the room - missing hairdryer, a single robe which didn't have a belt, a single glass and coffee mug (we were a couple staying in a King room) -Our room wasn't cleaned during our 2 night stay, which wasn't a big deal, but we were short on towels and coffee and didn't get supplemented -The showers in the pool locker room didn't have hot water -The pool and hot tub were closed on our last morning; I get that things happen but was a bummer Overall, the most recent stay was disappointing - especially when I'm such a loyal customer. I did have an issue with my last stay as well (which I'll leave out of this review) but wanted to give another try hoping it was a fluke experience. The foundation for a great stay is there, they just need to make some small improvements!

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately found the experience disappointing due to the level of service from management. While the property itself was fine, the managers were not very accommodating, and getting assistance when needed proved to be surprisingly difficult. Simple requests took far longer than they should have, and at times it felt like staff were unwilling or unprepared to help. Travel can be stressful, and attentive, supportive service goes a long way. In this case, the lack of responsiveness made the stay far less comfortable than expected. I hope the hotel can improve its management approach and better support guests in the future.

So get this, I call the front desk so I could place an in-room dining order. The person on the other end asks in a very exasperated tone, "Did you try placing the order through the TV?" He was soooo annoyed he had to take my order over the phone. Bro, you aren't that busy. After taking the order, he litterally just hangs up. No confirmation, no estimated time, nothing. I hope I get more order. I guess we'll see. Hahaha. 🤡🤡🤡

My son and I had booked a double queen room for one night several weeks before our stay through booking.com.a couple of days before we arrived we were in formed that our booking had been cancelled. Booking.com denied they had cancelled it. The hotel denied they had cancelled it. When we got to the hotel all they could offer us was a bunk room, which reluctantly we had to accept. Our thoughts were that the hotel cancelled the booking because they could re-book it at a higher rate. Hotel OK, but their booking handling must be questioned.

Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the restaurants had delicious food, and all the staff we interacted with were very hospitable. It is such a cool concept to have a museum inside a hotel and we really enjoyed the art.
