Huge showers and neat bars, but the novelty of this place wore off fairly quick. Can't say I was displeased with my stay, but I wouldn't pay luxe hotel prices to stay here again. It was nice being right next to the concert venue we attended though! Also, vegetarians/vegans should look outside the hotel for food. The resturant is overpriced for how bland-yet-salty the food is.

From check in to check out I had a good experience at the Moonrise Hotel. It’s in a great location with plenty of things to do close by and very close to Washington University and Forest Park. The Hotel itself was very clean and has a couple of bars and places to eat. My room was clean and with free wifi I was able to work out of the room. The only downside was the view I had from the room. Try to get a room in front of the hotel.

Upon arrival asked to valet 20 bucks a night in the same lot as regular parking no charge. was told valet was safer but then first night 8 cars got broken into at least two were in valet when their window was broken into sad. the room was dirty at arrival I found a bra in the corner behind chair that was left by previous customer. tried to order room service the next morning no one answered the phone just rang and rang. it was such poor service and we will never go back.

Our car was parked in the hotel parking lots. And, we woke up to a vandalized car, along with eight other cars of hotel guests. The hotel obviously know this is an issue because the vacuumed the broken glass and taped plastic on our window. But, even with valet service, they lack any needed security for hotel guests. Again, eight cars were vandalized, all with broken windows. It was very traumatic to stay somewhere so unsafe.

The hotel is nicely decorated. The room was spacious and clean when we arrived. However, our room was not cleaned twice during our 5 day stay. We complained with management who did not acknowledge there was a problem with housekeeping. Wifi is poor. I will not stay in this hotel in the future.
