What a Great Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in this secluded gem 💎 in Oman. Very peaceful setting. Beautiful property, with rooms very well designed and top facilities. But the best part is the people there. Akash welcomed us in a very courteous way late at night and guided us to our room. During Breakfast we were very well taken care of, especially by Eka. We booked a romantic dinner under the stars and the star of the show was Ratnesh a very professional waiter. Dinda the hostess arranged everything and was very helpful. One of the evenings there was a Seafood Buffet (out of this world!!). I also want to mention Rentus made sure that our room is always cleaned on time. And Janice at check-out was very sweet. I am forgetting many other staff in this hotel and I thank them all for this great stay. I definetely recommend it for anyone coming to Salalah and that are looking for peace and serenity in one of the best hotels we've stayed in.

We had a fabulous time at Alila Hinu Bay. Our stay was from 30. September till 8. October 2023. We stayed in a Lagoon View room. Large, tastefully decorated. The view was fantastic. Very pastoral. At times you could see herds of camels or cattle on the other side of the lagoon. In the distance the mountains. We prefer this view to the one from See View rooms (which are quite far from the water). One could spend hours gazing at the scenery. If it wasn’t for the agonizing AC fan noise. It was loud. Really loud (but no noise disturbance inside the room). It’s a shame that such a beautiful sensory experience was marred by the mechanical shortcoming. The hotel grounds were simply stunning. The greenery is limited – the hotel is in a desert. But we wouldn’t like to have it any other way (for lush vegetation go to Seychelles or Mauritius). We also loved the beach. Not so much for swimming (it is shallow for quite some distance from the shore), but for the seclusion, quietness, the sand, the crabs. Great for strolling before the sunrise or the sunset (which was amazing). During the day we spent most of our time at the pool next to the Seasalt restaurant. Great views from here over the lagoon to the sea. The food in both restaurants was good (but also very expensive). The breakfast was simply fabulous. The staff was helpful, courteous, and well trained. We used the well-equipped gym on several occasions. Usually, we avail of spa treatments on our vacations. Not this time. We found the prices excessive (even at 30% discount). Yes, we could afford it. But no, we don’t like being taken advantage of (with no other options available anyway nearby). The activities offered by the hotel were limited. We did kayaking couple of times. And biking – which was great. You can bike for kilometers in an interesting and scenic area. For some strange reason, the front desk implores you not to leave the hotel grounds – which most guests simply ignore. Is it because of the dreadful condition of the bicycles? Most of the guest will be having 2,000 – 5,000 EUR bikes at home. And here they get rusted, rickety one with malfunctioning gears and unreliable brakes. Why? Despite the mentioned shortcomings, we can wholeheartedly recommend the property. We had a wonderful vacation. Alila Hinu Bay is truly marvellous. If you are there, take the road trip to Hasik and continue past it up to the mountains towards Ash Shuwaymiyyah). It’s a full day excursion, but worth every minute of it. Worthwhile (maybe when you are departing from Salalah) is also a trip to Mughsail Beach and Shaat.

Just returned from an amazing short birthday holiday at Alila Hinu Bay! From the tastefully designed pool villa to the pristine beach, 2 beautiful pools, well kept grounds and great spa, everything was fabulous, including the delicious food. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the wonderful staff. Ati, Adnane, Hossein, Vikask, Akash, Dinda, Shubham, Alphonsia, and Janice, you guys really rock! Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel so happy during our stay. The team at Alila Hinu Bay truly knows how to take care of their guests!

Amazing experience! It is a resort which is quite far from the airport, and is in a remote area, but it offers lots of activities inside the resort itself like cycling around the area, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Great for healing time, to take a break from hustle bustle in the city, honeymooners, couples just to enjoy the time, they have their own private beach too. The staff were great as well. Special thanks to Akash from Reception and Dinda from Orchard Restaurant! They both really went the extra miles to take care of us.
