Perfect location near Old Town. Great hotel with very nice staff. Gym. Great bar. Good restaurant. Great room with a view over the river and Old Town. Could stay here forever.

Charm, Class, and Heart — All in One Place!
We chose Hotel Sacher after checking many options in Salzburg — and it was the best decision! We arrived as walk-in guests and were welcomed so warmly. The concierge team was amazing — special thanks to Paul for helping us with football tickets and Michael for arranging our transfer to Munich, such a great driver! The reception was friendly and professional, the bar had delicious food and very attentive staff, and breakfast was just perfect — especially thanks to Aisha, who was so sweet and caring. Loved the little kids’ corner too! The hotel itself is stunning — elegant, even the design of room keys is interesting , bright rooms with both a bathtub and a shower, spotless bathroom, fluffy towels, and a complimentary minibar refilled daily. Great stay - would recommend
My husband and I stayed at this hotel in late September 2025 as part of our 10 year anniversary trip. We loved our stay here. The location was excellent. Right on the river and within walking distance to shopping, sites, and dining. The hotel felt like a classic luxury hotel with a turn down service each night. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was clean and nicely appointed. While the room was small it was enough space for 2 people for a 2 night stay. There were no noise issues in the room. The breakfast buffet and breakfast menu were delicious and plentiful. The breakfast staff was also helpful and attentive. The lobby and bar area were very nice and clean.

Nice visit to sacher cafe
We visited the Sacher Hotel Café to try the famous Sacher cake and enjoy some coffee. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The Sacher cake was delicious, and the coffee was equally enjoyable. We look forward to returning when the weather is colder.
