Outstanding hotel all round - everything was special.
This was one of the most wonderful hotel stays we have ever had - everything was just perfect. Breakfast was perfect - always a lovely welcome, (Ursula every day was so kind) and the perfect spread of food, nicely presented, frequently replenished, and all very fresh. The room was really clean, the bed and pillows so comfortable. The bathroom and amenities were excellent. Also included was a complimentary soft drink and beer mini bar in the room. The only improvement we would suggest is usb sockets in the rooms. The sockets need updating. Otherwise just perfect. We ate also in zirbelzimmer restaurant which was excellent and had a few cocktails at the hotel bar. All round outstanding. And location could not be better for walking to all the sights.

If you are ever in Salzburg and want the best, use Hotel Sacher. Amazing location, accommodations with attention to every little detail, great service and a very nice restaurant on site. A little pricey but worth every penny

Beautiful Setting
We stayed at their sister hotel in Seefeld, this hotel did not disappoint, beautiful hotel and perfectly positioned for walking the city. Lovely room with a view of the river / town. Very helpful and friendly staff. 100% recommend it

Outstanding hotel centrally situated by the river and Altstadt centre.
The Sacher Salzburg lives up to its reputation of being a Leading Hotel of the world. All staff are courteous, attentive and make the guest feel exceptionally welcome. Five star plus for their professionalism. The rooms are perfectly clean, beds exceptionally comfortable and a well stocked mini bar replenished daily. Bathroom also was spotless and well furnished. Breakfast was wonderful as were the waiters. The small gym was more than adequate for basic cardio and muscle maintenance exercises. The sauna and steam room were a welcome addition and always quite quiet. This was our fourth visit and hopefully not the last. We got an excellent offer for a six night stay. Couldn’t find any faults or anything that needed improved. Highly recommended.

The most amazing hotel!!! Beautiful, elegant, and traditional, with the friendliest staff (and in the perfect location!)
We have just returned from an unforgettable stay at this hotel. What really stood out first and foremost was the service - every single member of staff was so friendly, kind, and helpful - from reception, to the doormen, to concierge, to the cleaners, to the bar / restaurant staff… everyone went out of their way to help us and to put a smile on our faces. We really felt welcomed and part of the Sacher family! We did not want to leave!! The hotel itself is perfectly situated, within walking distance to everything you could need in the centre of Salzburg. It is also an incredibly beautiful building - the decor, the furniture, the facilities. It was impressive, clean and modern, but with a traditional / historical feel. Our room was so elegant and spacious; with a big bathroom, a walk in wardrobe, and a hallway leading to the stunning bedroom which overlooked the beautiful streets of Salzburg. A highlight for us was the spa (sauna, steam room and relaxation area) - just what we needed after a day of exploring! Thank you so much for a lovely birthday weekend away - we will DEFINITELY be returning !!!
