Since 1866, Salzburg's only grand hotel is in the caring hands of the Gürtler and Winkler family. Perfect hotel, perfect location, amazing staff
Such a beautiful hotel in the heart of Salzburg. The staff is incredible- extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious and dinner in the restaurant was superb. The location is perfect- right by the river- and next to Old Town. We loved staying here.

Perfect location...luxury by the river
A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The room was very comfortable with a view over the river. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in both restaurants and the cafe. The bar is very cosy and the bar staff very attentive. By the 2nd night they had started on our martinis before we even asked 😃 The hotel is within walking distance of the centre with numerous restaurants and bars nearby. Perfect for Christmas Markets.

Treated like royalty !
Had a lovely time at the Hotel Sacher. Felt as if we were waited on hand and foot and in particular Saha at the front desk and Simon the concierge were so kind , friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Also I didn’t get his name but the doorman was so lovely and friendly as well. My mom & I felt so special during the entirety of our stay and felt very very catered to throughout. I am gluten free and Simon in particular was so helpful at already knowing which restaurants would be most accommodating to me in town and booked us in for them right away ! They also have GF options at breakfast which was lovely!! Thanks so much to the whole Sacher team. The hotel was lovely and modern with rich history and a prime location :)

Outstanding visit
We arrived yesterday and the delightful Saha checked us in . She was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area and gave us great recommendations . Simon the Concierge was also fantastic and helpful with great dinner and concert suggestions. Both our a credit to the hotel . An interesting touch was the chocolate scented shampoo and shower gel
