Hotel Emma

Living at the Pearl, I love coming to Hotel Emma for many different things. The staff is delightful and the culinary experiences are great. Supper is my favorite restaurant. And Larder has my favorite cold brew (the lavender syrup from Poblano farms is amazing) — served by perhaps the kindest barista ever, Darius. He made our day!

Beautiful hotel but the kindness and hospitality of the staff was what made it special. We stayed in a Brewhouse King. Room was good sized. I loved the shower. The water pressure was incredible. The Pearl area is a great area to stay in. Plenty of dining options. The walk from the hotel to downtown along the Riverwalk was nice. I would return if ever in San Antonio again.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Emma, we were completely swept away by the warmth, care, and attention to detail that define this extraordinary place. I stayed with my mom and sister for a special girls’ trip, and we all agreed—it was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. Every single team member we encountered brought genuine hospitality, from the front desk to the bell and valet team (who made us feel right at home and even gave us golf cart and hotel car rides!). The concierge team went above and beyond—from thoughtful pre-arrival planning and personal recommendations to organizing a beautiful hotel tour and tasting in the library. Our room was stunning—plush robes, plenty of towels, gorgeous views, and the most relaxing turndown service. We spent an afternoon poolside with great music, cocktails, and the perfect mix of energy and relaxation. Evenings at Sternewirth were just as special, with a staff that handled the crowd with ease and still took the time to craft amazing off-menu drinks. Shopping at Curio was such a treat—beautifully curated with thoughtful finds, and of course, the warmest service (Denise is the best!). We also loved being right in the heart of The Pearl with easy access to its markets, events, and vibrant community atmosphere. Hotel Emma is hospitality at its finest. Every detail is intentional, every team member is exceptional, and every moment felt personal and elevated. We can’t wait to come back.

I’m a nobody. Oh I’m famous to my grand babies but to the rest of the general world, I’m a nobody. But at Hotel Emma I am treated like royalty. And let me tell you about the hotel aroma. Hotel Emma has a signature scent. Two actually, the summer scent is my favorite. Walking in it lifts your mood. Breathe it in deeply and it touches your soul causing instant relaxation. It dissolves negativity on contact. A friendly smile is the required uniform and everyone wears one. Emma is an oasis of comfort, style, generosity and service like no other. I hope it never changes.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities to make a guest feel special! My husband and I were pampered and loved every minute of our stay.
