This hotel is fantastic! The staff are friendly and attentive and the rooms are stunning. The restaurant upstairs is tasty and the barista, Chase, is especially wonderful! He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of and recommended some amazing coffees!

Not what we expected from a top rated hotel.
Lackluster service. Hotel smelled like marijuana on our floor. No apparent attempt to get rid of it. I understand the hotel is going through a bankruptcy. I would hold off booking until it is bought out. Breakfast service was abysmal.

Wonderful hotel with phenomenal staff! Perfect for our corporate event!
I organized a corporate event for 100+ here and everything was incredible! The food was great, the on-site dining options were phenomenal, our meeting spaces were perfect, and the staff was 10/10. I particularly loved the Bellman Armando (so helpful and friendly!) and Maria on our banquets team. Maria reminded me of my abuela, and every time I saw her smile it lit up my day and made me feel right at home!!

Thompson Hotel Downtown San Antonio
Location in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Rooms were very clean and sleek. Not much parking available at hotel and overnight Valet was $60 per day. Lobby Staff was very attentive and courteous.
