Andaz has great facilities and is stylish and in great condition. Service was good, and very friendly. Room was very spacious and well appointed. But be aware that this is in the Gaslamp Quarter which is very noisy and slightly overwhelming particularly late at night, and the hotel is often give over to partying on the rooftop so make sure that meets with your expectations. Our room was next to the elevator and was therefore subject to continual 'rumbling' which was slightly unnerving, but not impossible.

rooms are nice. Hyatt status not well recognized. STK restaurant is very nice, very expensive. Staff kind of disengaged. Parking very expensive. Parking clerk could not have cared less. Need an hour notice for car to be retrieved. Answer always: "We're very full". This is supposed to be the high end Hyatt hotel. Well appointed but staff not high end service. Very disengaged.

The hotel reception insisted on charging us an additional $15 for the king-sized bed, even though we didn't believe it was necessary. After reaching out to the third-party booking service we used, they confirmed that the extra charge was not required.

Stayed here over a long weekend with my boyfriend. We were very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room, which was in perfect condition each day. It is in a great location downtown and has a great rooftop bar where we stopped each evening. Staff was friendly and the normal menu drinks were great - try the Cortez mule for a fruity fav

Awesome location in Gaslamp quarter. Walking distance to many attractions. Andaz was super nice! Give it a try!
