Look the hotel is a very special place. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable from the minute. You walk in the door, opened by Albert, You feel like you’re home.! Our room was very nicely appointed. We booked a one bedroom suite. Apparently, they did not know we had a third person, so while we were out in the afternoon, a very comfortable roll away was brought into our room. The views of the city were incredible. Request a high floor if you can. There was a big sectional sofa& a couple of chairs for relaxing in the living room. One of the most important requirements for me when staying in a hotel is the comfort of the beds. Our king bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were great, and the linens were soft. There were a couple of robes hanging in the closet, and I fell in love with the soft light fabric. We were there for Mother’s Day and I must’ve casually mentioned it was also our anniversary. In the early evening, they brought some delicious seasoned nuts and a couple of glass bottles of Evian. San Francisco is a great city and the Clift Hotel made me want to stay longer.

Great location, clean rooms and Nice staff. The breaskfast restuarant and too expensive. The bartenders are great! The valet is too expensive and they take too long. Wish the bar opened earlier and had more food options. The food options were very limited.

Excellent customer service, very clean, nice amenities and centrally located! Amazing experience, will definitely return!

I've stayed at the Clift many times, but this is my first stay under Sonesta’s management, and I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the renovation, quality of the rooms, bedding, and bath products. My room was large, well-appointed with two TVs and fast internet. Despite being on a lower floor, the room was also quiet. The breakfast cafe was solid, and the bar was able to deliver a burger and martini in under 10 minutes after a long flight late at night. I'm a huge fan and would stay here again on my next trip.

This was my second stay at The Clift for a business trip. The lobby is welcoming and the bar is a great spot to unwind at the end of the night. The price is unmatched for the area and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I really enjoy the cafe for breakfast.
