Hotel El Ganzo – Incredible Stay! We absolutely loved our time at El Ganzo. The vibe is creative, stylish, and laid-back in the best way. The rooftop pool was a dream—beautiful setting and the perfect place to relax. The food was amazing, with so much care put into every meal. Most of all, the staff were wonderful—super helpful, kind, and made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to come back

We had the best stay at El Ganzo. Literally everything was perfect. The food, the rooms, the service, the INCREDIBLE rooftop pool, the price, the location. 10/10!!!!! We can't wait to come back.

It’s been almost a week since we got back from our trip, and we’re still thinking about how amazing our stay was at El Ganzo. This hotel has such a cool, artsy vibe. The design throughout is really unique and unlike anywhere else we've stayed. The food and drinks at all three restaurant options were excellent. And our Terrace King room was perfect. We spent many evenings on the terrace, just sitting in the chairs and taking in the ambiance and view of the water. What really made the trip unforgettable, though, was the staff. Every staff member we interacted with made us feel welcome and cared for. I can't say enough good things about the front desk team, especially Alberto and Manuel (and a few others whose names I, unfortunately, can’t recall). They were always ready to help with anything we needed. One day that particularly stands out was when my husband came down with a stomach bug. They directed me to nearby pharmacies to get medicine. Later that day, I messaged them on WhatsApp to ask if the kitchen might be able to make him a broth, since he was unable to keep down solid food. They checked and actually came back with two different options for him to choose from, even though neither was on the menu. They even offered to help arrange medical assistance if we needed it. Thankfully, we didn't, but their consideration made a difference when he wasn’t feeling well. Our entire stay was filled with these kinds of thoughtful touches. Housekeeping not only took great care of our room, but also left little treats for us each day. And on my birthday, I returned that evening to find a piece of cake and a sweet handwritten card in our room. It made the day even more special. Our favorite spot at the hotel was the rooftop pool. We actually ended up spending much more time there (and at the hotel in general) than I’d originally anticipated because it was just so relaxing. The views were gorgeous and calming. And again, the staff there was great, especially Montserrat, who had such an effortlessly cool presence and was always so attentive and personable. The whole team constantly came by to check if we needed food or drinks, helped adjust our umbrella to keep us in the shade, and really seemed to anticipate our needs before we even asked. The whole trip felt like a reset for my nervous system. I was sad to leave. The only negatives of our stay are fairly minor: (1) the outdoor daybed on our terrace picked up some debris overnight, so it might be helpful to provide a cover or towel to put over it. (2) When I initially booked on the hotel website, I didn't get a confirmation email and was worried that my reservation might not have gone through. I tried emailing an address listed on their website about this, but it turned out to be outdated (reservas@elganzo.com instead of the current reservations@elganzo.com). Once I called, everything was resolved, but it would be great if the website were updated, and confirmation emails were sent automatically. These are small details, though. Hotel El Ganzo delivered exactly the kind of getaway we needed. We're already talking about when we can come back.

Great spot away from busy San Jose del Cabo. All the staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. Food and drinks could be better but we enjoy them anyway.
