What a beautiful restaurant with the most amazing and energetic staff. I’ll come here over and over again. The ambiance is unmatched, the food is unforgettable, and the service makes you feel right at home.

The resort was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, even better in person than the photos online. The room we had was very large and on the first floor so it was pool front to the patio, which made it very special. And the service was beyond great. Ramon and Fernando were awesome and took care of everything that we needed. Even when there was a minor issue in the room, they came right away and took care of it. The only negative was that I visited during low season, so it was hot in Cabo for sure and most of the restaurants they have (most of the good restaurants in Cabo actually) are open air. I think for next time I will be visiting in winter :)

We had an amazing time! We booked the ocean view king room. The resort is beautiful very accommodating and relaxing! Great food, great staff and especially Oscar he was our butler and was able to help with everything we needed he made our stay a 10/10 I would highly recommend him and the resort!

My experience staying at viceroy was top notch 10/10 and Mariana, the host i was assigned was such a delight she went above and beyond to make sure i got everything I needed. Nothing was beyond the scope of her job description. She helped me even get my money back when i was scammed at the airport. I would definitely be visiting again and I would specifically request for her. The hotel is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in the world, the views are breathtaking taking the service is amazing the food is incredible and I believe i got my moneys worth. Everyone there was very nice and hospitable and always doing the most to help. From taking my pictures to booking my tours, doing my zipper, and everything in between. I would totally recommend

I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately my experience did not reflect the level of service or quality one would expect from a luxury property. The Downsides: • Inconsistent Rooms: Even within the same category, rooms vary significantly. Some have kitchens, others don’t. Some have nicer patio furniture, others don’t. Bathrooms may be closed off in one room, open-concept in another. What you see online may not be what you get—ask to view alternatives if your room doesn’t match the photos. • Room Issues: Our room had major lighting problems—the lights wouldn’t shut off properly and at times flickered like a strobe. We had to call maintenance three times between 1–2 AM just to have the lights manually turned off. • Unpleasant Smell: One evening we returned to find a strong sewage odor. Instead of addressing it quickly, the front desk implied it was due to dirty dishes in our room (we had none). Maintenance came, denied smelling anything, and nothing else was done. • Air Conditioning: Our AC broke during the stay. • Design Flaws: Terrace doors were extremely heavy and hard to open. Only one of the double sinks drained properly, and the water from the second sink overflowed into the first. Shower and toilet door handles were awkward and difficult to grip. • Mini-Bar & Service Issues: Mini-bar was replenished only once, on the final night. Our original butler failed to follow through on several requests, including transportation and cabana reservations. When we voiced frustration, the situation escalated into an unprofessional exchange. Thankfully, our replacement butlers, Alexis and Angel, were excellent. • Adults-Only Pool: Beautiful rooftop setting, but no food or beverage service unless you have a butler. At every other pool, service was readily available. Odd policy. • Construction: There was noticeable construction activity and workers throughout the property. The Positives: • The restaurants are outstanding—excellent food and service across the board. • The spa is gorgeous, especially the thermal area with hot/cold pools and steam room. Treatments were wonderful. • The pools are beautiful, with attentive service. Renting a cabana ($125) was a highlight, with excellent service all day. Overall: For the price point, this was a disappointing stay. While the property has stunning design and some excellent staff members, the inconsistency, lack of follow-through, and poor handling of issues made it fall short of true luxury. Sadly, I would not return.
