About the Hotel
The courtyard gardens of Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada provide a leafy respite from the colors, scents and sounds of San Miguel de Allende. Here there is tranquility befitting the cloistral surroundings – some of the intricate stonework dates from the 1400s, and individually designed rooms are reminiscent of Old Mexico. Talavera-tiled bathrooms, copper sinks and stucco walls adorned with original art create a homey ambiance, and the quarry stone fireplace is the perfect place to enjoy an evening glass of wine.

Best Hotel in SMA.
We just completed a 4-day stay in SMA, which is the most beautiful town in Mexico. The staff here went the extra mile to make our stay one of the best ever. Worth every penny! This is now our house in Mexico.

Belmond SMA - Casa de Sierra Nevada is amazing!
As every other Belmond I have experienced, the Casa de Sierra Nevada in San Miguel was amazing. VERY historical and unique hotel. Very small, quaint, quiet, exclusive. GREAT customer service in every aspect we experienced, from welcome to departure.

Excellent choice for San Miguel
This is an excellent property in a great location. We pretty much walked everywhere from this hotel. The staff was amazing, the rooms were great, the breakfast was incredible and just an overall great stay.
