Tierra Atacama Hotel and Spa

From the moment you arrive in this secluded 5-star hotel, you know this place is special. You enter the new tavertine walkways, which are surrounded by wonderful gardens featuring the native plants. The welcoming staff immediately makes you feel at home. Every room has its own entry area and private patio with fireplace. The room accommodations are luxurious. You can enjoy your own private outdoor shower. For food enthusiasts, the chefs design and prepare delicious dishes from breakfast to dinner - the BBQ night with live music was particularly fun. When you want to enjoy some quiet time, the spa area inspires an inner wellness with a variety of services from facials to massages. There are plenty of intimate spaces around to enjoy a glass of wine around your own fire. The excursions are well planned with experienced guides designed to immerse you in the Atacama beauty. But I guess what makes this place notable is the wonderful, spirited, and attentive staff. Teamwork and professionalism are demonstrated with each interaction. I felt like we had arrived at a secret space.

This place is an amazing experience with great rooms, amenities and service. Atacama is a beautiful place and so fun to explore. The guides are really knowledgeable and friendly. They think of everything, bringing snacks and drinks on excursions and are always looking out for the guests. Do not miss the horseback riding as this was a beautiful ride! The hotel is a true 5 star experience with great food and rooms. All of the rooms have big picture windows looking out at the volcano. Every person at the hotel is kind and welcoming and helpful. They all go above and beyond which is a pretty hard thing to do considering the size of the staff. Bar was excellent. Spa was great. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Do yourself a favor and book yourself into Tierra Atacama! Our stay was exquisite in every way. The facilities -- rooms, linens, views, spa, and dining -- are top notch. The variety of excursions and the guides who led them were fantastic and knowledgable. The ambience is simultaneously luxurious and relaxed. But Tierra Atacama's special sauce is the staff -- from the dining team to the driving team -- all were friendly, attentive, fun, coordinated, and creative. Excellent!!

Our 4 night stay at Tierra Atacama was beyond outstanding. Delicious meals, excellent service, a relaxing spa, friendly top rate staff, outstanding excursion guides combine to make our stay at Tierra Atacama the best of our 3 week adventure in Chile. After each fabulous excursion, we arrived back to a welcoming visit to the spa, a drink at the bar, and a quiet zen like ambience. My 5+ rating is because the whole staff pays attention to the smallest detail to make the best experience for all guests.
