Ate lunch (only) at the Iguana Cafe inside the Hilton Buffalo Thunder. Was impressed at the tastiness of the food, friendliness of the waiter Jimmy, wonderful decor throughout the premises. Ate the 3 enchilada plate and loved how the corn tortilla shells were nicely grilled and tasty. Also had the green chile stew which was also exceptional with the Hatch green chile and Chimayo red chile leaving two wonderul tastes lingering in your palate after each bite. I didn't stay at the hotel because live in nearby Santa Fe now but the hotel is very comfortable and classy looking. The Iguana Cafe food is as tasty as the most popular restaurants in Santa Fe.

Another perfect stay at Buffalo Thunder. This has easily become my go to hotel when in the Santa Fe area, I stayed here at least four times last year alone. I have never encountered any issues and I truly appreciate how they consistently recognize my Diamond status with proactive upgrades to terrace or deluxe suites. The rooms are always well appointed, large, clean and comfortable. The views are stunning and the staff are very friendly. I am looking forward to returning again soon!

Check in very slow and not friendly. No Diamond status recognition. Starbucks- cold coffee at 12:15 and espresso machine shut down. Lunch- downstairs terrible food and service Breakfast- manager at Iguna starred at me but didn’t seat me. Food mediocre.

This trip was a nightmare and it’s still going. I was injured during my stay due to my soap dispenser in my shower. ( it was taped on to the shower wall) yes taped. It fell on my toe. They said they would refund my money in several emails. Now that are saying I will get nothing. WTH???????? HORRIBLE HOTEL. DESPICABLE GM DISGRACEFUL CORPORATION D O N T. S T A Y.

Specious hotel, friendly staff, excellent room! Limited restaurant hours, out in the middle of nowhere. Wish there was things to do and places to eat around the hotel. Our tour manager had to find a restaurant nearby that could accommodate 50 people.
