About the Hotel
Owned by the Fustinoni family since 1945, the Grand Hotel Miramare is an icon of the Italian Riviera. Located in Santa Margherita Ligure, it serves as door to Portofino and as luxury base from which to visit the "Cinque Terre". Its 75 elegantly decorated rooms and suites are equipped with all modern comforts including WiFi and free daily non-alcoholic minibar. Surrounded by the deep blue Mediterranean waters, a lush green park and Italian garden, guests are spoilt for choice of views. Personalized service makes the stay a comfortable and relaxing one while enjoying the benefits of being pampered. Terraces, bars and our "Vistamare" restaurant offer the best in Ligurian cuisine and a select choice of Italian wines. I missing personality
The hotel is well located and with beautiful and well curated gardens but, to me, is totally missing of charm and style. It is not a grand dame and neither a contemporary decor. A sort of hybrid that did not bring anywhere. The dark brown corridor are really not matching the seaside aestehtic: The service at the breakfast was excellent and very friendly, we enjoyed. Swimmingpool is nice and well mantained

Dreamy Stay on the Italian Coast
What a dreamy stay on the Italian coast. Initially I was going to stay in Portofino, but I am so glad I didn't. The Hotel Grand Miramare was the type of place you'd like to stay for a month. I cannot say enough about the professional and friendly staff who made you feel like a true guest and not just a customer. The pool, beach club and wonderful morning breakfast were fantastic. Get a room with an ocean view - balcony is even better. If you're still itching to see Portofino there's a lovely walk from Santa Magherita with incredible coastal views.

Amazing stay
Amazing historic property on Italian riviera. Every aspect of our stay was excellent - the room, beach, pool and restaurant experience are a true definition of hospitality and service at the highest level.

Italian Riviera Old School Masterpiece
Perfect "old school" Italian Riviera experience! All coupled with a very modern new pool, gym, and common area. The poolside and beachside food was just 'fine', but, that's to be expected when ordering 'by the water'. Beachside chairs and umbrellas wonderful. Breakfast was perfect. And other than a sometime surly Concierge - she def became impatient with our detailed questions on local restaurants - Staff was amazing! Every one there was helpful, professional, polite with smiles all around! Great place we'll def look forward to revisiting!

Our family of 18 stayed for a week and everyone had a most enjoyable time. The standard and facilities are first class but enhanced by the friendly, efficient and attentive staff at every level.
