The Singular Santiago Lastarria Hotel

We enjoyed this gem in the Lastarria area of Santiago. The staff works hard to make everything easy for you from check in to check out (Martin was particularly helpful). The room was large with everything that you need, including bottles of water. The elevators (9 floors) are modern and surprisingly quick. We really liked the rooftop bar and restaurant. They had over a dozen intriguing hand-crafted cocktails, We paired our drinks with the charcuterie board. It’s hard to top great drinks, good food and attentive service with a view of the Andes and the city. Make sure you let them know that you are a hotel guest when requesting a table. For breakfast, you have 3 options for receiving the same food (the menu is rather basic, but it works). Option 1 is the self serve buffet in a separate room with drink service (best option if time is short). Option 2 is table service inside a well decorated room, and Option 3 is the same table service outside in a courtyard. The gym was located in the bottom of the property. It’s a good size for a hotel. It had 2 True Ellipticals, 2 True Bikes, and 2 True Treadmills along with a True stretch unit. In addition, it had light dumbbells up to 10Kg and a Paramount universal machine. I also found yoga mats, a boxing bag and some exercise balls. It was enough to put together a good workout in a comfortable setting. Finally, it’s open 24/7.

We have just enjoyed a 5 night stay in a top floor (8th) twin room with balcony. Whilst the room was spacious, it is the people and the position that really makes this hotel for us. Without exception, all staff were excellent…. However, Martin, the Concierge, Jorge, the Restaurant Manager, and Javier a waiter helped make our stay special. The hotel’s position in Lastarria, was for us excellent. As this was our 4th visit to Santiago, we just wanted to walk out each day and enjoy the various barrios. Food and Beverage: Excellent! The Singular Sour, with a hint of smokey chili became a daily habit. And, the food (after taking off 19% VAT which they did for O/S guests) is the same price, if not better, than nearby restaurants. Food quality and presentation was first class! Yes, we really enjoyed our stay!

I would come back to Santiago just to stay at The Singular. Perfect in every aspect! Rooms are beautifully presented and beds incredibly comfortable. Every staff member is a delight and so helpful. Great restaurant and terrace bar. Amazing food. A truly lovely experience staying at The Singular!

Very warm reception. Accommodated an early departure with a takeaway breakfast. Room was spacious and rooftop restaurant very good.

Wonderful stay with my family including 2 grandmas and 2 kids. The hospitality and accommodations were exceptional. Martin was exceptional and went above and beyond for us even to make our short stay in Santiago memorable and fun making sure that everything was set for us before we arrived. Martin went so far as to even find me a watch strap when it broke, which was waiting for me when I came back to my room a few hours later (thanks, Martin!!). Jorge was also awesome! Breakfast was delicious and location was fabulous. Didn’t hurt that there was an ice cream shop across the street!
