Modeled after a modern Balinese village, the resort invites guests to discover the fascinating old and new. The beachfront resort is carefully built around existing mature landscape, lending it a homey and lush ambience, much like Sanur itself.

We recently stayed at Andaz Bali as a family of five, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable — a thoughtful gesture that really set the tone for our visit. We did encounter a minor issue during our stay, but it was handled promptly and professionally by the duty manager, Galang. His responsiveness and care were much appreciated, and it's clear the hotel puts a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction. Breakfast each morning was a highlight — not only for the delicious variety of food but also thanks to the exceptional service from two members of staff who went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. Their warmth and attentiveness really made a difference. I did take their names down but sadly I can’t find it. We also made good use of the lounge facilities, which were a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed relaxing there in the afternoons with the complimentary coffee and cookies — a small detail, but one that added to the overall sense of care and hospitality that Andaz Bali does so well. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — the design, landscaping, and atmosphere reflect a great deal of thought and attention to detail. Every space feels calm, welcoming, and perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a serene, high-quality stay in Sanur. The service sets this hotel apart from other hotels we have stayed in around the world. We’ll definitely be back, and next time for longer. Thank you Andaz!! Mrs Daud and family.

Andaz is easily in top 3 hotels in Sanur, along with its sister the grand Hyatt it has easily the best position in the front in Sanur with the best beach. Rooms are stunning, front of house and welcome is excellent, breakfast superb quality and variety. Ambience - great and v chilled. Free bikes for biking along the boardwalk which I recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed the Andaz. You get use of the full gym and spa facilities which are next door at the Hyatt but easily walkable or they provide you a golf buggy. What could they do better ? Well I have 4 (mini) gripes : 1) there are not enough beds on the beach. When we were there, they had only 12 beds on the beach which was not nearly enough 2) it was hard to get beds around the pool and the staff were not policing the reserving of beds (a challenge across Asia as the people are so lovely they don’t want to upset guests by removing items on beds sat for hours without people using them !) 3) for such an expensive hotel I was shocked that we had to pay extra for sunrise yoga and Pilates. I would have expected that to be included / free (as a result of the fee, it was empty most mornings ) 4) the main pool is quite small but the hotel let all sorts of inflatables in it so it became a bit like a crèche which was annoying as the kids pool was empty most days - would prefer kids stuff in kids pool and main pool to be inflatable free ! All in the hotel is gorgeous - superb location, very relaxed, excellent food and u would certainly have a superb time there if you chose Andaz Bali

Love the hotel, always Andaz thats make all-experience into memories. Beautiful scenery just perfect in Sanur. Food is delicious and service from Ibu Yunik is Fantastic. She even serve us with her generous smile and welcome from her heart just right on our arrival. Well Done Andaz and we definitely be back soon. Keep it up 👍

Had the most amazing stay with my husband and 2 boys. Beautiful spacious room, breakfast and food to die for and grounds immaculate. Could not recommend highly enough. If you are looking for a hotel that delivers exceptional service, amazing food and is super kid friendly this is the resort for you. We will definitely be returning, best hotel in Bali. Also big shoutout to Pras who attended to us on several occasions and Rai (chef) who are both such a valuable asset to the Andaz and could not do enough for us. We look forward to returning again next year!

The hotel and facilities themselves are lovely – they earned a star for that. The food at breakfast was also cooked very well, which is where the second star comes from. Unfortunately, beyond that, I would not choose to stay with the Hyatt brand again at this stage. The price you pay for the Andaz compared to the experience is completely misaligned, and at times the whole stay felt somewhat fake. The staff appeared poorly trained and unsupported, with little visible leadership. A serious example was when my wife, who is gluten intolerant, was served food containing gluten despite making this very clear. She even triple-checked with staff that the meal contained no gluten, only for a “correct” version to arrive ten minutes after she had eaten the original. Breakfast as an overall experience was poor. The table layouts were impractical – some were completely unsuitable for five guests. On one occasion, one of our party was essentially seated at a separate table, cut off by large ornaments in the middle, which made conversation impossible. On another day, we were seated next to the kitchen, where the noise was so loud that nobody could hear each other. Service was inconsistent. Drinks varied from day to day – one iced coffee arrived in a tiny glass, another in a large one. For this level of hotel, consistency is expected. Mistakes can happen, but when raised, there was little accountability or recognition that anything was wrong. Only when we visibly showed our frustration did staff begin to take things seriously. Finally, the food is hugely overpriced. I would recommend leaving the hotel and enjoying the Bali experience by dining at the many excellent restaurants nearby.
