About the Hotel

Borgo Egnazia is located in Savelletri di Fasano, where the hills of the Itria Valley gently fall away to the Adriatic Sea, and the property itself is inspired by the shapes, materials and colours of a typical Puglian village. This authenticity was conceived to bring a fresh and original feel that is found ‘nowhere else’, alongside impeccable service. It is a miniature world of homemade breakfasts prepared by Puglian Massaie, delicious food experiences both gourmet and traditional that are strongly related to the Mediterranean Diet and then Vair, the poetic Puglian Spa, two beautiful private beaches (Cala Masciola and La Fonte) and the scenic San Domenico Golf surrounded by ancient olive trees with views that stretch to the sea. And then there’s the service; tailored, friendly and caring, a dedicated team always available to guests (the Local Advisers).

Reviews for Borgo Egnazia

Beautiful and peaceful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Beautiful and peaceful. Our first time in Puglia and Borgo was a good way to start. It’s set a village. It’s charming, well designed and has everything. Staff very friendly and so was the food. Only comment would be that room service reactivity levels could be better. Overall highly recommended

nice resort, wonderful experience.

We wanted to be there since a couple of years, following LWH site. in this zone thare are TWO LHW luxury resorts, this and the "twin" Masseria san Domenico. (reviewed apart on T.A.) So we organized a trip to both. On arrival, smart impression, everithing was very accurate. The place mimics an ancient rural village, a "masseria" but has been built from scratch in 2013, so you got a weird impression: spaces are very well measured and placed, keeping rural sense, so for example stairs are sumptuos, but not as in a rural home. Service and courtesy is impressive, a LOT of people very gentle. we DO appreciate all personel is italian (we hate place where hotel hires foregign intern to save money...) good! A note about guests: 90% are foreign, and I note, they behave a little bad for the place, a bit messy and speaking aluoud everywhere. We do use SPA, goddo level but a but lower compared to other SPAs (for example the one at Histo in Puglia, too). At B.E. there is also a starred restaurant (review apart.) : good but we sense it a bit lower than starred ones in Milan. B.E. often guests business meetings: we can understand, but is bad for people in vacation: noise and queue in restaurant: BAD! to sum up: PRO - astonishing place and architecture - a lot of cared services - smart personnel - care for details CONS - business meetings fights against a qwuite place to stay. (we compared with Masseria s.Domenico, a very quiet and peaceful place)

Think White Lotus - a big hotel that is well managed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We were part of a tour group who stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The interior of the hotel is very dark - not much natural light given the historic nature of the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional! The pool area is fabulous as is the gym. What we felt was needed was more signage and information about activities offered at the hotel. It truly is a maze - and we found it hard to navigate the grounds. I have no need to go back but it was a good experience but prefer more personalised properties that have a more intimate feel.

A unique and spectacular place…yet a bit dissappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The place is magic - it’s beautiful, well done and quite the labyrinth (180 rooms i think). Yet it’s recent but made like traditionally (i thought there were enough traditional places in Italy, if you do a new one, why not making it …new?). The place is overstaffed- but the staff is undertrained. Rooms are interesting (we want more plugs to charge….) but the thousands pools are bit too much maybe…I liked very much the breakfast but dinner was below expectation - not sure how they got that Michelin star…judge by yourself. Lacks authenticity in my view.

Truly nowhere else!

The most amazing resort in every single way! The villa, the amenities, the restaurants, entertainment, the facilities were outstanding! Most of all the people were hospitable beyond our expectations and our concierge Adriana was superb in meeting all our needs!
