Reviews for The Edgewater
A hotel past its prime...
The hotel's unique location on the water is no longer much of a plus. Opening a window or a balcony door is ruined by strong chemical smells (and noise) from the surrounding docks. At check in, the front desk staff was incapable (or not sufficiently trained/competent) of addressing issues with our assigned rooms. At check out, the front desk staff also was incapable of addressing incorrect nightly room charges and accompanying % service/tax charges. Skip the coffee shop - walk a few blocks for something much tastier. On the plus side, the bar and restaurant were excellent - superb service and delicious food - worth the price.

Warning- Over priced and....
Overall experience was terrible. The room had a toilet running ALL THE TIME. SO, we tried closing the bathroom door and the door to the bedroom but it got extremely hot. The two rooms has ONE AC vent that supplies air conditioning to the entire space. Once the bedroom door was closed trying to avoid the constant running toilet it becomes very hot in the room. Needless to say paying $700 + for a room with a constant running toilet (loud water flowing sound) and a very hot room i was not well rested or happy. I was offer $100 rebate....My thoughts are PLEASE FIND ANOTHER HOTEL.....

From the moment we arrived, Nick made our stay truly unforgettable. As a Seattle local traveling with my partner who isn’t from here, I’ve stayed at a number of hotels—but none compare to the experience Nick created for us at The Edgewater. He went above and beyond in every way possible, anticipating our needs and making sure every detail of our visit felt seamless and special. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism embody what luxury hospitality should be. We felt genuinely cared for, not just like guests passing through. Nick is the perfect example of what a guest services manager or representative should be—setting the bar high for the entire team. Because of his effort, this was without a doubt the most memorable hotel experience we’ve had to date. If you’re considering a stay at The Edgewater, you can expect 100% luxury treatment at its finest—especially if you’re lucky enough to be looked after by Nick.

First time reviewer - Edgewater worth taking the time!
A first-time traveler to Seattle, Edgewater was chosen initially due to its proximity to the Clipper ferry....but what a treat it was to find this gem was even better than we had been told. The views were amazing from the plentiful lobby seats, and the waterfront room provided lots of opportunities to wave at folks on various sailing vessels. A special shout out to Noor at the front desk who enhanced the celebratory nature of the visit by providing stellar recommendations, reservations and rooms which included fireplaces and other wonderful amenities. The family was so impressed that they are planning a repeat visit! The trip started out as being focused on Victoria, which was indeed wonderful but Noor and the other Edgewater staff made the Seattle experience very special.
