About the Hotel
When the property now known as The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle debuted in the Roaring Twenties, it marked the arrival of the Pacific Northwest – until then, hotels of that caliber were found east of Chicago. It hosted countless galas, debutante balls and presidential visits – JFK stayed here in 1961 – and, in 1979, joined the ranks of the National Register of Historic Places. Italian Renaissance architecture and Old World style meld into a centrally located Seattle landmark that hosts a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning restaurant and one of the city's oldest oyster bars.

From Forgotten Shoes to Gluten-Free Dining—Flawless
Everything about The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is top notch!! Great location, gorgeous rooms, warm and attentive staff. I asked the font desk on check in where I could buy running shoes since I forgot mine and in an instant she had running shoes sent to my room to borrow. (those shoes walked ALL OVER THE CITY!!) Also - I was attending a 300 + person conference. The food at every gather was wonderful but more importantly - I am Celiac and somehow the staff kept track of that and I never at a spec of gluten. Impeccable Service and Stunning Surroundings
I was there for a business conference but also had the chance to spend some extra time with family. The property is absolutely beautiful and left such a lasting impression, but what really stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff. Every detail—from the accommodations to the amenities—was exceptional.

Lovely historic hotel in a fabulous location in Seattle. Walking distance to all that downtown Seattle has to offer. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. If you didn't bring enough warm clothes... not to worry. You can borrow a warm jacket from the hotel. Food was amazing, rooms were beautiful. Sheets & towels were luxurious. I can't wait to go back.

Historic Hotel with Modern Amenities and Great Service
Great Service. Great History. Highly recommended. The staff in every dept was engaged and willing to help with all questions. Love the story about the art piece above the bar and of course the speakeasy off the lobby.
