Grand Hyatt Seattle

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. As a brand of Grand Hyatt, which is generally 5* , this one is possibly 2*. 1. Rooms are old, dated and walls are discoloured. For £300/ night it's extortionate money. 2. If you want housekeeping, porter or even speak to reception, then you have to go via a virtual assistant which doesnt work. Even if it transfers to someone, no human answers. If you want a service, come down and DO IT YOURSELF. 3. Staff need better training on reception. I wanted a large taxi and one of the ladies (no name mentioned but wore a face mask) was quite abrupt and short. Her manager had to intervene and she basically was pushed aside. Where the concept of customer service and hospitality??? 4. Depending on which 'human' you speak to, they all give you different views. I wanted a large taxi, 2 people said it's confirmed and 2 said you can't do it. The final confirmation came from the hotel manager Choi who confirmed the large taxi was booked. When leaving for the airport, there were 2 taxis! So double the charge. Large one NEVER showed up. A new 'human' at the front desk said you can't do it. 5 Even taxi ordering service is automated so no humans are available. Would I recommend this hotel ? NO. Do yourself a favour and save your money. At £300/ night, go elsewhere and avoid this dump. This hotel and staff is a shame on the brand 'HYATT'. A message for HYATT. Please train your staff properly so the same messages are given to your guests.

Excellent hotel! From the time you walk in the staff is very attentive and helpful. Rooms are equipped with everything that you can possibly need.

The bathroom was clean, huge and I loved the bath with the rainforest bath bomb. Check in was super easy and friendly. They were able to get us into our room earlier than expected.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! I stayed at the hotel as part of a cruise package. The staff were all very polite and helpful and the place was very clean and tidy. The room was spacious and comfy and the bathroom was stunning. Highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The room felt luxe and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here if you want a wonderful experience.
